What's this all about then?

Maybe some of the Princes cousins have given up trying to convince UEFA that Saudi clubs should be allowed into their Champions League and have decided to go down a more traditional route 👀

Don’t think theres much to read in to it other than bumping into each other at the boxing, BUT, how about having him involved as a minor shareholder? Wouldn’t it benefit the completely inexperienced COH to have someone with 10 years experience of owning not just A club, but THIS club onboard?

He sold up because he didnt have the funds and it wasn’t doing his health any good. This way, he’d not have the financial burdens or pressure of sole ownership, but could have a nice little investment should we go back up- we know he’s got a few quid he could re-invest to buy back in. Think he said he would want to be involved with a club again at some point. A minority stake and an advisory/liaison type role could be a good move all round.

I’d have him back purely and simply to negotiate the fee for anyone we decide to sell.

True to his word he still follows us beyond selling us. (Appreciate it's not even been a year)

He wasn't utterly fantastic. But neither was he awful when you look at what he oversaw in his period of ownership. In hindsight he was pretty good.
He does have the fortune of having Wilder MK1 and the force that he created back then to help that. And in the 2nd prem promotion we had an inspired Ndiaye too. But again Iliman was signed under his tenure, and we had some good loaner recruitment that season too.

I suspect if anything he might put some small investment in be involved in some sort of consultancy role.

But I reckon he's just pleased about us swapping for CW back.

Prince was a decent guy who just took an eternity to sell which buggered up the last prem season.

It's just typical of us to get a Saudi prince who's comparatively skint compared to all the others!
If he wants to be involved again then all power to him, the current owners could do worse than have him on board.

Yeah pretty much spot on. I think he was in the top 5 of the poorest princes in Saudi from what I can remember. Typical! At least he had the decency to realise that.
