I'd let a tramp fart on my cheek. Twice!
Said tramp have dined on vindaloo, 2 days old from a bin..

What would you sacrifice? :)

You did the right thing, an unforgivable spelling error.

Your corpse probably wont be found until the morning now as its pushing 1am in Sheffield & only the expats in different time zones, bored at work looking on S24SU for updates on Ryan Leonard offers will actually know you're dead, for the next few hours.

Luckily I hear its freezing over there at the moment so your body won't smell too bad by the time its found.

As a small company founded in Canterbury in 1850 the furniture giant sadly went into administration in 2003. I quite like old retro companies so would like to see it back. Even more so, after the bastard scum took me deposit for a sofa and never delivered the goods. So, yes I'd love to see Courts and that smug scum manager (who must have known and read the tea leaves) back...

As for Coutts a big loss but one we will overcome in the short term.

As for the OP, we aren't a one man team.
Fulham - after seeing the speed and trickery of them on the opening day I knew they were a really tough proposition, I just hoped they didn't bring their shooting boots. Bugger.
Birmingham - set up to defend and got the customary 25 yarder, we're always going to need 2 goals to be sure until we cut that out.
Millwall - might have made a difference, might not. A lot of players didn't turn up that day.
Bristol C - must be all that luck we get coming home to roost.

But its relegation form since being crocked 1 point from 12. :(

Thank goodness it didn't happen against Brentford.

Was saying the same yesterday. Now with Fleck out we'll see the size of Tufty's coaching manual.

Come through this and he'll have proved it's not all about team spirit and confidence! The way we're set up to play doesn't work without Fleck & Coutts.

Time will tell...

Nothing, Lundstram will become a better player than Coutts

How long do we wait? - for him to be a similar influence to what Coutts was. Influence is the key word as most appreciate he can't replace Coutts.

My answer to the OP is go and ask Southend what they realistically want for Leonard. I think we need options in CM - we presently have no options left.

According to Alan Biggs in last Friday's Sheff Telegraph, we've already made such an approach to Sarfend.

Is he better than Lundstram? Does Wilder rate him higher? Would a loanee be more sensible if Coutts prognosis is good?

I don’t bloody know!

No, re loanee. If they come from a PL club there's an expectation that they'll play a lot. That would mean dropping Lundstram, our player, and slowing down his development so that we can develop some kid for a PL club. Some kid who isn't going to be anywhere near the finished article.

If it's not a kid, then we'll be expected to pay a lot of his wages. That would be a last resort. My preference would be a Leonard type; one with the potential to step up quite quickly, who has had plenty of experience in the lower leagues and is at an age where he really should be progressing to a higher level.

I don't think long at all. Without Fleck on Saturday he will need to step his game up again, which I believe he did against Bristol City.

There are obviously a lot more options than Leonard, and Leonard certainly isn't a Coutts replacement in my opinion.

yes, I am aware of that and it was again turned down.

We need to ask Southend what they value Leonard at when he has 4 months left on his contract. They keep rejecting our offers, but everyone has their price.
