Who goes in the ground at 1pm and then sits there and waits for KO two hours later..............man on kop in blue shirt.
hinkI wish they would make the entrances to the SS wider for us that are of ample proportions (fat bastards) it’s like a bloody sardine fitting into a tin! Consideration please to those that Luke their food and a pint.
CBehave. I used to love going round my grans house and having a go on her stairlift!
Probably went to meet his mate who is sat beside himWho goes in the ground at 1pm and then sits there and waits for KO two hours later..............man on kop in blue shirt.
perhaps? ( in answer to Eddie's point above).
What I most like about the photo above is that the seats with no view of the Bramall Lane goal are self-evident.
Because they are hidden away they are in constant shadow and haven't faded like the rest have.
Of course, I've never been on that corner and I've not been on the entire John St stand for 17 years because Sheffield United think it's okay to discriminate against those who don't have children.

That takes me back, tie clips, good system that leaving the cavity gap. Clips we used were circular, called 'em cherries because they were red, and needed a tap with your trowel on colder days. Seems your observation on none fading plastic fell on deaf ears from the main protagonist for ground evolution. Despite this I do believe Vorpels ideas are good and practical, maybe too much so for this over complicated world.I will look at the Preston game, but the Westfield Corner was designed to match the (steep) rake of the BLUT. The rake of the SS is much shallower.
Re. the faded seats (not peculiar to BDTBL - Sunderland's 'in sun' seats are now more white than red. Not fit for purpose). Years ago I worked for a firm that made - amongst other things - stainless steel wall ties. We developed a plastic clip that fitted to the wall ties and was designed to hold insulation panels against the inner leaf while maintaining a (50mm) cavity. These clips were about 3" square and made of semi-flexible plastic and exactly the same red colour as the seats. We had several prototypes made of different types of plastic and, over two years, left them up on the roof and subject to all the vagaries of temperature, sun, elements etc. While maintaining the colour wasn't important, none of these clips 'faded' at all. Neither did any become brittle or misshapen.
Whoever makes some of these seats hasn't done any testing or product development. The manufactuers should be called back and told to replace them as 'we ordered red, not f***ing pink!'
