Au contraire, I await DD's apology for making us an international joke with his silly, prehistoric questions of candidates. I also await an apology from the club for appointing a washed-up Hoofsmith to the panel in the first place. Just how inappropriate can one get?

Luckily, wiser counsel seems to have prevailed.

Let's hope we've seen the last of Dinosaur Dave in an official capacity at SUFC. Further embarrassment would not benefit either party.
 
International? Like anyone outside England bar our smattering of foreign fans does, has or will ever give a flying fuck about Sheffield United.

So Bassett would get the blame if United appointed someone you consider to be an “hoof-merchant” (and therefore an EDL sympathiser) but as they haven’t it means they must have totally ignored him.

That’s a very convenient win-win situation you’ve invented for yourself there. Would it really hurt to just say “Well done Bassett and United, I think you got it right”.

The kit repairer is already at work doing a few crafty alterations to Danny's old tracksuit.

In a similar vain to Ryan Flynn being recruited to fill Ryan Frances' "barely worn", then we've saved another suitable wedge and waited for the right man to come along.

Is dear old Danny "relegation" Williams dead yet?
