I remember the panic sacking of Blackwell after losing 3-0 to QPR , but they went on to win the league , maybe in Gillingham we met a team that could really push on , they have some real strength up front , their 4th was a superb strike and we couldnt get through them at all
what if we met the best team in this division this season on a good day ,,, just saying
what if they are this seasons mk dons

I think they'll be around the play-off spots if they keep everyone fit. I'd not be surprised if they follow-up Saturday with a defeat at the weekend.

I think it's irrelevant in terms of our performance as all teams can cross a ball.

its relevant in that Gillingham had a very strong second half of last season and their managers had that 6 months extra preperation and knew their strengths and weaknesses , Adkins was seeing us in bread and butter league action for the first time
I only hope adkins learnt a lot from it or we are fecked

It didn't do Clough much good last season.....but I take your point.

I don't know, what was he doing?
didn't go to Gillingham, that's why I was asking the question. I heard from some that did go that Long was getting stick right from the start, so was curious as to why.

Or look at Swindon last year - unfancied, pretty much came from nowhere.
Maybe Gills are set to be a surprise package.
