Bit unnecessarily dramatic again though isn't it? We played Man City (who won the treble and who most consider to be the best team in the world right now) and spent more than 7 seconds in their half.

Last time we went up everyone thought we were shit and guaranteed relegation fodder. Yes we weren't great the second season but give them a chance. Stop believing what every armchair fan on twitter tells you is going to happen.

I know this is an old thread but I've always felt not signing Tommy Doyle is one of the reasons we are where we are. I know at the time it was said that he was part of the Neves deal, but he didn't go for much, then we're told it was wage demands. He loved it here and 'got us' that would have made a difference with the new lads.

Any truth in this list?

Jili Buyabu has more minutes than RND and I doubt he’s on more than him so I’d say it’s nonsense.

Old Loris there on £10k pw to be 3/4th choice at Newcastle and he gets to go home to Diletta!!! What a life

Also the rumoured relegation release clause wouldn't have even been mentioned if Doyle was happy on 10k

Pretty sure the rumour was that Doyle was on £40k/week at City. We were happy to match that as a PL club but weren't willing to if we were relegated: our standard is 40-50% reduction which would have put him on £20-25k if he had joined and we were relegated.. Wolves will probably be paying him more in the PL and while they'll have a relegation reduction it would still leave him on more than £30k.

Long and short of it is that those sports wages sites are full of shit.
