What now for Sharp, Done, Brayford will they want to stay at the lane ?

What must our few decent players be thinking after the JTW disaster ? A boardroom in disarray, A manager with a great CV getting little or no backing, A club getting rid of any player that they can good or bad in a fire sale. Never mind the thoughts of the manager walking away how can any player with any ambition want to play for a club which is clearly going nowhere ? The likes of those mentioned and maybe Adams too must be thinking and asking the question is being at Bramall lane good for my career ? I can really see a few of our better players wanting away why on earth would any of them want to stay.

My money is on the better players still being paid more here than they will get elsewhere. There's a reason we haven't got a pot to piss in. They are going nowhere.

I'm not sure I agree with the idea that we've sold good players in a fire sale though. On the sales side, my only disappointment is that more didn't leave. We've lost nobody to be remotely concerned about.

They will be thinking, my jobs safe & the money will be rolling in for a bit longer, all I have to do is keep my nose clean & turn up for practice sober

Done why is he always classed as one of our top players? He's massively overrated by most on here.

Sharp will know what it's like being a Blade himself and can always expect to be disappointed.

Brayford is committed to the club unless the board tell him we have sold him for a tenner to Burton.

Done like others have said will still be running home from the last match and have totally missed deadline day.

I think they will be glad to see that the club has finally off loaded a number of players who are a financial strain on the resources and who are not contributing to results ( as they are not even making the bench)

I really wish we had brought in a couple of decent signings in Jan - but we haven't so we move on and maybe get someone decent on loan which may be a blessing if they turn out not to be as good as we hoped!

None of the first team have gone in Jan and I've seen many posts worries about Brayford, Che etc being sold. Disappointing but not a disaster IMHO

I doubt we'd get acceptable offers for Done or Sharp as they are well paid by third division standards, and they're unlikely to garner interest from Championship suitors. Brayford or Adams (if he has a good second half to the season) may do and we may have to sacrifice them for the big summer rebuild.
Bakeblade, I kind of agree with your assessment of Done and could see Mcnulty or Sharp battling it out for one place, and a new target man occupying the other position. Done would move on to pastures new and help finance new recruits if interest is there?
