The attacking football, the happy go lucky attitude, the actual excitement?
For the first time in years I looked forward to watching us for entertainment as much as anything else. I hadn't felt that since Ndiaye left.
Felt like Wilder had let go of the handbrake and thought fuck it, let's go for it. Attack is the best form of defence.
That idea was short lived, clearly, but what a great period of time to watch us. Runs of 3's and 4's, throwing caution to the wind and attacking at pace!
Has it been coached out of them in order to be more solid instead?
Have the players lost confidence randomly?
Is it instruction?
That the other day was utterly pathetic. And we had enough attacking 'talent' on the pitch to take the game away from them, certainly with how we were playing. I simply cannot believe that the players alone decided to start wasting time in the first half away at Norwich.
If the entertainment is at a level of 0 for the rest of the season, it's going to be a long long month and half. And Chris will be at a thanks but no thanks with me.
Martin Skubala awaits...
