What happened to the “massive” support?

That band is so embarrassing! I would only expect to see that in a depressed South American country.
It is so sad you can't even laugh at it.Wendys hang your heads in shame

We sold out our allocation yet there were many empty seats on the upper tier so what happened ?Thought for a minute that our SYP friends had stopped the trams again !
There was a few to a seat in places (presumably people wanting to sit with their mates), also quite a lot stood in the aisles near where I was.

They are a massive club on par with the best in the land in their tiny minds only , & are deluded beyond belief. For a club that has not been in the premiership for nearly 20 years , with an outdated crumbling stadium which is not even up to most Championship clubs standard, their arrogance is hard to fathom.

Wait until England gets another World Cup or European Championships
The begging bowl will be out on their behalf with our local unbiased politicians lobbying the FA, bribing, blackmailing, wining, dining, whatever it takes to get Sheffield as a venue
Once Sheffield is a venue, there'll be more, bribing, blackmailing, wining, dining and using the Hillsborough disaster as an excuse to get a new stadium built for them

The perfectly good Bramall Lane stadium with the redevelopment plans in place, close to the city centre, close to Devonshire Green, Close to Meersbrook Park with it's fantastic views of the City Centre, and close to the largest park in Sheffield (Graves Park) will not have a park suitable enough.

Oh and there support at Bramall Lane earlier this season was magnificent, even though i couldn't hear them on the Kop.

We sit half way on SS and didn't hear them either.

The noise from BLLT is way quieter than BLUT - quite a master stroke putting away fans on the bottom.

UTB

Maybe down to people standing in the gangways rather than standing where their seats were.

My ticket was on the back row near the gangway but there must have been about 10 lads standing in that area. Ended up moving down the row where there was space.

Got to admit I was in seat 4 I think and was getting soaked, so just moved and stood in the gangway.

Re the atmosphere: I think the band ruins it for them. Their North Stand created some noise and impromptu chants. I think they've grown accustomed to being led by the band and this has massively affected their atmosphere.

Thing I found baffling if during their 1 or 2 dangerous attacks the drum was still being banged, why not just watch the attack and cheer.

I thought that the band had buggered off to Bellend Road a few years back? I could be wrong though.

Fantastic Blades turn out though, great away following yet again.

Where our 2 seats were, there ended up being 6 people as 4 pissed up / coked off their tits lads werent shifting anywhere! We just moved at half time a few rows down where there was loads of space

The sad thing is our council will back the Hillsborough option as they always have done. Then what happens next is the FA reject the place due to it's association with death and disaster and opt for Elland Road as the regional venue instead. Then we have the usual outcome of Leeds1 Sheffield nil and the thicko's on the council still can't figure it out.

Neither bramall lane or Hillsborough would get selected as fifa/UEFA venues as they have rules about no streets surrounding the stadium ,in fact hardly any English stadiums would qualify

Its because the have to have the surrounding area exclusively for themselves

Is it the same ‘band’ that goes to England games now? Ruined that as well, they play about 4 songs but no one starts anything else and they think they’re bloody celebrities

Isn’t this the reason Madrake the magician bought them for £1 after co op had payed off the winding up tax bill , then wrote off the £17 million debt
Because he thought England where going to get 2018 World Cup and get a new stadium at tax payers exspence like city and west ham did

They all got stuck in China I think.

No, like the vast majority of pig fans they got stuck in the pub. If a UFO landed in most pub's car parks when Wendy were on, they'd swear Sheffield was predominantly Wednesday-based because most of them never go near the fucking stadium.

That (partly) explains the incredible level of delusion among their fans - they congregate with like-minded simpletons and actually believe the shite they spout to each other. Talking of which, I'll bet 'Mark' has had his one free hand hovering over the phone all day, just waiting for Football Heaven at 6 so he can regale us with his unique brand of bollocks. I won't be listening. RS has turned what could have been a decent phone-in to a platform for sad cunts like Mark, Brian etc. The pigs will have been reading all the drivel about how fantastic/unlucky etc. Wednesday were last night and will want to share it with an expectant world.

Two of them, at least, are complete tossers. I believe one of them used to ‘play’ for us at junior and reserve (as they were then called) level.

Like some mates of mine, born in Chapeltown, raised in Chapeltown, went to school in Chapeltown, live in Chapeltown, drink in Chapeltown, work in Chapeltown, married to women from Chapeltown, go to Chapeltown restaurants, pubs, clubs, and never leave Chapeltown to do anything.

And guess what ? They're massive because they've hardly ever seen a United fan in their lives
