As they are on a par with all the big clubs in England, last nights pig turnout was must have been a bit embarrassing for them. If they can only get 27,000 for their biggest game of the season the big lie and self delusion about the size of their club has been laid bare.
If they do get on a run and start to climb the league it will be interesting to see how many crawl out from under the slime.

I know they are fickle bastards, but they don’t even have form as an excuse given the decent run under tubby.

I’m genuinely surprised at that pathetic turn out.

Not just that but hardly heard a sound from them till the added time at the end of the second half when the 0-0 win was on the cards for them

They are slagging our support off last night on Porktalk, saying it was poor didn't sing especially in the 2nd half, and it was probably down to when we realised we wasn't going to steam roll them.
Oh and there support at Bramall Lane earlier this season was magnificent, even though i couldn't hear them on the Kop.

Agree, perhaps the spaces are as a result of disenchanted supporters. Maybe the penny has finally dropped, and having to endure an unimaginative brand of football has taken it's toll on anyone hoping for more. Lucky for them that 4000 Blades were in attendance, but they won't always be able to rely on us. I might also suggest that their dear leader's hike in ticket price has reaped it's own 'reward', and that those who chose not to attend have finally had enough of Chancer's 'whimsical' approach to squeezing his customers like lemons.

It will be interesting...will it?

Auntie Flo and Uncle Judd have been to the new Wembley once and turned out when they made the Wycombe game a tenner.
They've not averaged 30,000 since the post World Cup Beatlemania boom.
The nation has seen the empty blue seats for their biggest game of the season. Big club my ar$e.

We should have boycotted en masse giving that sponging bastard 160k, and left them in more shit with just 23 thousand in the deathtrap in their biggest game of the season.

We sold out our allocation yet there were many empty seats on the upper tier so what happened ?Thought for a minute that our SYP friends had stopped the trams again !

They're pathetic, in their support and style of football, oh and they're stadium looks as shit on TV as it does in the flesh.

That's about as eloquent as I get until this hangover wears off.

and that f###ing band

Good god ,what a embarrassing shit hole of a stadium and the only way they can get there idiots to sing and clap is to play a little crap tune on a drum and trumpet

i used to go a class like that with my daughters when they were 2-3 years old !

They are a massive club on par with the best in the land in their tiny minds only , & are deluded beyond belief. For a club that has not been in the premiership for nearly 20 years , with an outdated crumbling stadium which is not even up to most Championship clubs standard, their arrogance is hard to fathom.

Mate I've just trained myself not to read things on pork talk. You'll end up literally bouncing your head off a brick wall! They piss me off without even trying just by how thick and deluded they are, and that they actually believe the tripe they come out with.

Or they thought they were going to get hammered and neshed it...I didn't realise it was that low...27k for a derby with over 4k Blades is really poor, especially with the recent feelgood factor of a new Manager and on a decent run...Massive my Arse.

The band that time forgot. A massive anachronistic embarrassment.

It was 31880ish in total, 4000 of whom were Blades leaving them with 27880.
Still piss poor.

I don't even know how it gets called a "band". It sounds, and always has sounded, like a kid was given a drum to bang while someone plays comb and paper through a megaphone.

How many more decades of that shite are people prepared to put up with?

Spot on.
We on this forum have been fair in the whole about last nights game, mostly admitting a Draw was a fair result, some of our fans questioning Wilders team selection and Substitutions, some have even praised a few Wednesday players on their performance last night.
But over on Porktalk they shaded it, Calling Sharp and Wilder and Madine all the names under the sun. Saying Sharp should have had 6 yellow cards for his challenges.
Even Sky don't escape their anger, how dare they keep showing the penalty incident.
They really do have a massive chip on their shoulder.

Gemming Ham has a great deal to answer for. Silly fucker.

Still a better effort from them than the 22000 who turned up against Leeds. Embarrassing to see all those empty seats on the Kop

Was there any bouncing? You know in like dancing with the drum, didn't see it In the pub on the TV, shame because it's what they are famous for and I like a bit of tradition, any clackers? They should introduce em, fits in well with a drum and bouncing, proper, proper fans wish we were more original

Maybe down to people standing in the gangways rather than standing where their seats were.

My ticket was on the back row near the gangway but there must have been about 10 lads standing in that area. Ended up moving down the row where there was space.

To be fair to Wednesday fans, if we had a band like that I would seriously consider not going to our games.

In both cases ignorance is bliss. For them they are blissfully unaware how stupid they look and how shite they are. For us ignoring them prevents their ignorance pissing us off :D

I don't get all this bigger support, older, better bollocks.
I'd take Bournemouths position in a heartbeat and look at the investment a club of there'size'.
Yet the size of the ground for top division football is pathetic! !
