Take a look at this picture and tell me what it reminds you of...

Do you want to know what it reminds me of? It reminds me of our defence leaving the door too wide open, we really have got a bad problem with our defence conceding far too many silly and soft goals, it's as if you could just walk the ball through our defence and past Paddy these days. Is it me or will we always have this chronic defence problem? From the looks of today, Tuesday night and last Saturday we really have a big problem.

lets get 1 thing straight without doubt it should have been morgan and lukketi at centre half today with armstrong and geary at full back, its all well and good changing the defense for the opposition ie playing bromby to mark henderson, but we're sheff utd we have a damn good squad and one that was a match for the majority of premireship teams last year so why should we have to change for a nobody team like watford, for instance look at geary he was 1 of the best full backs in the PREMIRESHIP last year and he was very rarely beaten so why should robson think a nobody like henderson will beat him

btw i apologise if this dosent make any sense iv had a lil bit to drink :D

I agree about Del, but he might have taken a knock. Don't forget that last year we only beat them away with an offside goal very late on in the match.

As a horse racing man, who looks at form, we were probably closely matched.

But last year we was by far and large the better team. And even Nade ran them ragged......

No matter how good Geary is and the form he was in, Robson thought he'd be exposed against the height and strength of Henderson/King. They were always gonna pick on the smallest, meaning they targetted Armstrong. Had Geary started it would have been him they tried to exploit.

It was always going to be the same, Watford constantly do it, every time you are on the ball they crowd every option and/or foul you. That'll be why people were changing positions so often, to try and confuse/create space.

The thing is, we weren't actually doing badly against a team much stronger and much more direct than us, until we let them score. Then the team wobbled, lost confidence and struggled to create.

Sorry Martin, I have to disagree.

For the simple fact is. Geary has shown time after time after time that he can cope with any player, no matter his size/skill.

For me, Robson doesn't trust as much as he should be trusted, and this was an awful decision to make.

It's not me you're disagreeing with, its the manager. I do think though, no matter how many times Del jumps 8 foot in the air, he would have been targetted and struggled in the air against the two big sods.

Id say the door to our defence is alot bigger than that.

I don't recall my post, but I stand by it :D haha

a centre half iv liked and would do us a job is youl mawne big lad with pace could be part of the jigsaw we need

Wouldn't be a bad signing.

I would of liked Darren Ward and I am surprised we didn't chase him he ended up going to Wolves on the cheap.
