An additional #10 as Duffy won't be able to play 46 games. Not convinced Woodburn can play that role (more a second striker). Freeman at QPR would be a good fit considering the likely budget available in Jan.

Apart from that, every position has at least 2 quality options

It could be, but we'd still lack an understudy to Duffy- hopefully we can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Realistically, an attacking midfielder and our OWN long term Duffy replacement since we haven’t replaced Brooks really, only a loanee. Freeman is a lovely shout and would be my favourite.

If we can find a better RCB than Bash (could be difficult) then maybe that too, as much as I love him, he’s one of few we could afford to find better alternatives for. That said no matter how much competition we get for him he always sees it off, Leonard the latest.

Obviously a striker is what everyone in the division is after. Kieffer Moore did alright for a poor side in the division last year and he’s scoring goals again, I really rate him.
Swansea seem happy to sell their talent for some weird reason. If we could afford to sign McBurnie I’d be over the moon, but I imagine the new contract he signed in the summer is high on the wage side despite the fact we might be able to come to an agreement in terms of fee. It of course depends on how well Swansea are doing in relation to us too, probably unrealistic.

Let’s see how the recent acquisitions do first and how we develop as a result.

Difficult to say what else we would need at this point, particularly when we are on a good run. There is probably still space for one more higher up the pitch, a deep lying forward maybe. A Brooks type. We’ll see.

We are otherwise pretty well balanced with good depth.
