Adams was brilliant when he came on. As he was against Spurs. Makes you wonder where he has been.

The facts are that Adams never got one minute of playing time between 7th March when he came on as sub until 18th April when he came on as sub against Bradford.

After that he had two starts and I regarded that as simply resting other players immediately prior to the play-offs.

IMO Clough chooses to limit his playing time for reasons best known to himself.

I've commented before that I do not understand why Ryce was moved on but once he was I fully expected Adams to get plenty of game time, but no he hasn't. Last night Clough had little alternative but to put him on and left it late for reasons best known to himself. In all these weeks when Done has been on the bench or rested fior the two games Adams still has not got much playing time.

Suddenly last night Clough named him as one of the prospects in our bright future. He came on in the 85th minute FFS.

Have another look and ask the same question about Basham. He'd got back there and just ran past the guy with the ball. Stop two yards earlier and the guy has no choice but to go wide away from goal.

I thought it was Harris! Certainly a bizarre decision to make..

He has been scared of Byrne over both matches and given him far too much respect. All he had to do was nail the tosser with a solid tackle once or twice so Byrne had something to think about.

I noticed that.. What Bash was thinking I don't know,all he had to do was back Alcock up and run in behind him and the lad wouldn't have scored.

Yes, that was poor defending by Bash, he ran the wrong side and only succeeded in confusing Alcock..
