Seeing them at Luton was like travelling back 100 years, does that count?

You picked a cracker to come back for. My favourite game whilst in Lanzarote was watching Basham’s arriving with a table of Leeds fans next to us2022 Blades v Burnley at the Lane.
Blades victory 5 2
Lanzarote to Sheffield 1850 miles. So return journey 3700 miles.
Of all the times to quit....I travelled from Whitby and back EVERY home league game between April 2006 and May 2017......a multiple round trip of about 55,000mls.....can I count this?
I was in Ypres Belgium that day. Nearly overturned a table jumping up in the bar I was in when that happened! You picked a cracker to come back for. My favourite game whilst in Lanzarote was watching Basham’s arriving with a table of Leeds fans next to us![]()
Going back to the opening post my furthest is 3,300 miles, Sharm El Sheik to Portsmouth via Gatwick in the late nineties, I'm pretty sure we lost 1 nil just to make it more worthwhilePortsmouth is obviously miles away. This got me thinking: What’s the furthest anyone has travelled to see United?
Also, distance is not always the same as time so:
What’s the most time anyone has spent travelling to see United?
(Roadworks, delayed flights, being kidnapped and held hostage for 5 years – make your own rules.)
I wonder if anyone made it to New Zealand, and back, from Sheffield, in 1965?
Without you, we would have only taken 2,999, so thank you, very much.I travelled from Perth WA back to Sheffield then down to QPR to see the fantastic 3-0 FA Cup victory in January 2015.
So, I’m claiming Perth to Loftus Road !
I’ve watched them several times whilst occupying a different dimension, which I think tops that.
Of all the times to quit....
I've also got a Perth (WA) to Bramall Lane.Perth WA to Manchester flight, then stayed in Cheshire with the wife's family before driving over to watch the friendly against Chesterfield a couple of years ago so that would be over 10,000 miles one way.
In my student days (2002-2005) I travelled back from Ormskirk to Sheffield for every home game (making full use of the Student Season ticket for the 3 years I was there![]()
Just like Walter Mitty!I've travelled further than any of you.
I've journeyed into the realms of fantasy.
Believing that one day we'd become a well-run club in the top flight.
And get as big as Bournemouth , Brentford & Brighton.
