dam right. (insert Jose Baxter joke)

I feel like I have though (I haven't).

Chris wilder is the best manager we've had for years. Warnock split the crowd a bit, and even now pinchy's "dinasour dave" divides opinion.

Listening to wilder talk, and watching the results on the pitch is finally transferring to the kop. Had a good old sing and shout today, not sat on the kop feeling like a weirdo if you get a bit enthusiastic in the Adkins library. The lane is coming to life again, they're "giving us our club back" #unitedtoghether.... Seems like a bad dream

A way to go, but as someone said on p and g, we're going to war, and I, for one, would want Chris wilder on my side.

Dave Bassett was the best manager of my generation, Wilder will be the best of my kids and Sharpe my grand kids.

Wilder hasn't even been here one season ,so comparing him to Bassett and Warnock is pointless

Clough was the messiah after his first season and look how that went
Personally think wilder could eclipse them all but look at ranieri as an example of how modern football works

As much as blade too long and Pinchy like to make out United fans are the worst in the world we are just the same as every one else and if we struggle in the championship next year it could go either way

I just hope this a long and meaningful relationship, the type you can tell your grandkids about in years to come...... Sorry, getting a bit carried away there.

All the singing and shouting today's given me a rough throat, and that's just how I like it. There was one particular song amongst the repertoire which I hadn't heard for a long long while..."The Blades Are Going Up":)

Chris Wilder, He's won me over. ;)

In all seriousness I was worried about the appointment at the start of the season, I thought it was small time Lower League thinking and then the first 4 games had me sunk in depression.

What else can I say I was totalling and utterly completely wrong about him.

He's taking us up.

Anybody think for a second that this group will be settling for a dogfight next year?

Their 2 supposed contemporaries for promotion pitched up in the last week and these lads went straight for their jugular.

As for Wilder. Does he strike you as a man who would accept just fighting for survival? As soon as our promotion is confirmed then he'll have everyones sights set firmly on the Premiership.

Dont let anyone kid you that you need a squillion pounds just to compete up there. Just because teams consistently spunk that kind of money on Premier League has been's and never was's doesnt mean that money is a prerequisite for success

Its a new dawn at BDTBL. No longer the plucky underdogs.

Very fair points fanny magnet.

It's early days and we're in the 3rd division.

However I do think there is no divide in the fans just now.

I reserved judgement on clough until his second season, as I felt the club had backed weir to a degree (until kmac went possibly), and clough just organised a completely disjointed team into something capable in the third tier.

Wilder seems to have us playing fast up and at 'em football, on the deck, around the league 1 cloggers. Great to watch

All good when your Winning and top of the league I suppose. If we do go up, it'll all be a tougher test
