No, I said the PL wouldn't have had the guts to dock points because of the implications at that stage of the season. I've clearly stated that I don't like seeing points docked.

But would you agree that the fine is a mere drop in the ocean with the money you will receive this year by staying up?

Well £5.5m is a lot less than £60m isn't it. But then had we still gone down that £5.5m would have hurt a lot. Are you saying that rather than a points deduction it would have been fair to fine the club £60m?

" W.H said they tore the contract up? but it must be agreed by both partys. so it would be an illegal transfer/loan for the last 3 games as both partys hadnt agreed by it to destroy the contract.
So if kia speaks out against west ham, it could go in our favour. If he says he agreed it will be in west hams favour.

If it does swing our way, then i cant see the PL letting them get away with it for a seccond time and think they will give west ham 0 points for the last 3 games. "

What i heard off someone.

i think the point SV was that you might like some ketchup for that "Chip" on your shoulder.

Obviously it was really funny wasnt it.

Oh, right. The sort of joke that is so funny he has to have an adult explain it.
"Chip" and "Ketchup".
Quick, call the rib doctor, my sides are aching so much.

To be honest, that's how I see it, but that must also be seen in conjunction with the fact that the registration was in breach of PL regulations, which West Sham have admitted. What I'm unsure about, is why the PL allowed the subsequent 're'-registration, unless Tevez's 'handler' was complicit.

I'm sure the reason why they're not sending representation is because under questioning, they could only weaken their position further.

The sad reality is that all that will happen is that rules will be tightened, which is very irritating, as I don't want to go to Scunthorpe.

Yet you prove your point with such a witty retort?

Hmm

I'm not sure what the situation is with all that. Kia so far hasn't raised any objections to the claim by West Ham that the contract was torn up. At the same time, I can't see him relinquishing his grip on the monetary rights to Tevez's signature.

Of course the flip side is he is registered as a West Ham player with 3 years to run on his contract. So then surely West Ham could keep him for another 3years then let him go on a Bosman?

The whole thing is very confusing, and I for one miss the days of straight forward transfers.

He has, he stated that West Ham had unilaterally tore up the contract and he'd placed the matter in the hands of his lawyers.

Hi all, been keeping a keen eye on this thread as its the only one with a certain degree of maturity.

I'm not trying to patronise, and I may sound thick here. But I don't get your point on all this Iron.

Not so much thick as retarded I would say. Honestly been round so many forums today and the amount of people just laughing at you is ridiculous. Even Millwall and they hate us! Not even come on here to defend West Ham just to read some of the complete cr*p that you lot are spouting. Carry on boys fight the good fight cos your definitely funnier than Norman Wisdom!

You make accusations yet don't carry it through and state how I am apparently "retarded"

We are merely replying to all you lot who keep signing up to insult and cause trouble.

Not content with being cheats, you also fail to have any sort of common sense or sense of dignity.

I hope you think back to days like today and realise how pathetic you've all been, you know, in the not so distant future when you are in a similar position to Leeds.

Kia left all matters with his lawyer and has been conspicuous in his silence.

Well that would depend on the nature of the contract which is in place.

Too damn right.

Hold on so you have a forum where you all agree with one opinion. Brilliant! When someone comes in with a different opinion you just shout them down till they go away.Brilliant! What do you wanna know?

It's you who has come on here, why? Have you got something to debate about?

No 2 people have the same opinions all the time.

You opinion happens to be that because we are attempting to stand up for fairness in football we are all retarded.

I don't that that really deserves a massive amount of discussion does it?

We are getting really sick of West Ham fans joining up purely to drag up an old arguement and insult/be childish.

What about the season you blatantly cheated to get down to seven men and get the game abandoned. Conveniently forgotten I suppose. Yet you keep harping on about this one, stamping your feet and running off like children when something does'nt go your way. But you kept pretty quiet about bringing that one up!

I don't recall any season in which we "blatantly cheated" in such a way. In the instance you speak of, the 2 players who got sent off for violent conduct never played for the club again and the players who went off injured were missed for weeks.

If thats your biggest reason for coming on here slagging us off, I think it says more about yourself than us to be honest.

What would we gain by getting a game abandoned in such a way? when any possible outcome would result in a loss.

We had, and keep, going quiet on the subject until some childish southerner starts it all again.

But I suppose you didn't read those threads saying so?

Well they had to be missing for weeks would have been a bit sus if they had come back straight away now. Sorry maybe not cheating but a certain levering of the rules eh?

I only mentioned this incident the other day.

The game got abandoned and WBA got the points and a 3-0 win. How is that cheating?

As Foxy said, 2 of the players never played for us again, and 2 went down injured didn't play for weeks.

There was only ever accusations from Megson that we cheated (a Wednesday fan I may add) and there was never any proof. Strange really as there was a 4th official there at the time.

Yeah your right, I mean you'd have an operation just so leaving the pitch didn't look suspect I suppose?

What leverage of rules? we ended the match with not enough players, didn't dispute the result or the fact it should be abandoned.

Those involved apologised and the only ones in the wrong were thrown out of the club to other sides.

You really are backing up your arguement aren't you ;)

You'll be claiming Jon Stead has been inelligable next.
