Seriously though, it’s a completely out of the blue selection of a player who’s not paid a league game for us yet at this level. I think it’s understandable people are apprehensive about it. Be interesting to see how he does. Hope he settles quickly.

Either way, questions should be asked of CW by the local journalists about why certain players are missing and why other players who haven't been acting well are still in front of others.

How much did we pay for Bogle again? How much did we pay for Osborn and why is a young lad (Lowe) who has hardly been great so far keeping him out of the side? I love CW and hope he is our manager for a long time, but he is still accountable for his decisions and some of them recently have seemed strange to say the least. Qs should be asked irrespective of the result tonight.

I'm conflicted. Steve on the Maupay thread is a throbbing bellend but Seagull seems sound. My partisan nature can't work out now whether Brighton are OK or not, particularly since they've given up the pig-esque shirts this season.
