You're both right. Total clear-out needed. He needs to start again with what he needs not what he has. They're all mentally scarred and need to move on for themselves as well as for the club. So staying up is the height of the bar this season.

When we arrive in League One our stuggles continue, whereas they get promoted immediately. It has happened every time.

Sooner we're a straight forward Fans-Owned PLC, an adaptation on the Barcelona model, we may feel more responsible and in control of our own club's destiny. The current model hasn't won anything of note since 1925. As long as WE elect the right people for the club's administrative, strategic and football management roles, WE can't do any worse.

Share capital is valued around £30m. So that's around £1k each for a packed to capacity 30k Blades. Worth a thought?

Nothing but respect for our fans who make these journeys which as you say can be expensive. Would love to get to more away games myself if I can get tickets.
