Looking forward to this becoming a "Coventry fans on Fleck" level view from.

hopefully he will rediscover his Forest & RB leipzig form because was very good back then but struggled in the last few years & it wont be burke by name burke by nature

but there is a slight worry that burke is 23 & has already played in england scotland germany & spain

Yikes - even Fleck didn't get such universally poor reviews.

But Wilder has seen something in him that most can't and that will do for me.

At worst he's just Scottish Zivkovic, and we've traded an ineffective option for an ineffective option, but hopefully Wilder can get a tune out of him.

Let's face it, we've not lost owt by letting Robinson go, and with it being a straight swap we can still try and get Brewster on loan.

Cheers Roy.

You can't help but be concerned with comments like that. It doesn't sound like he has the attitude Wilder looks for, which makes it a perplexing signing from afar.

Hopefully Chris can get a tune out of him.

Not sure he has ever played as striker anywhere he has played. if I was to try and find a home position for him it would be the Lunny / Berge role wheee him and the wing back could create havoc. looks very hybrid in terms of positions at this time.

maybe he will take that Jamie Murphy role in then last 10/15 mins of games where you leave him upfront And use him as an out ball.

intriguing if that’s the word signing

They really don't like the lad do they?
Abit concerning reading the comments about his attitude, but let's see if CW can fashion this lad into a Premier league footballer.

Phrase of the day seems to be 'had their pants down', depending on what we have paid for this deal I'd say we'd been done. Hope I'm wrong.

Fans questioning a players attitude is quite different to managers doing it. It's almost the default thing fans put out when they decide they don't rate someone.
I'm not aware of a manager mentioning his attitude being poor, or him having a reputation for being unprofessional, just not the quickest to pick up tactics etc.

I'm assuming money changed hands as well as Robinson and Burke, I'd have given Robinson another season unless a good deal was on the table, I hope it was.

I was surprised when I heard about this deal and I'm even more surprised now it's going through. I thought Callum would be given more of a chance to prove himself for starters. He was considered a really good signing with potential and he seems to have a great attitude. So now we've swapped him for a player who promised much but has not really delivered and has a questionable attitude. Chris always says in interviews that mentality and attitude are very important when he signs players so one can only imagine that he knows something we don't.

An intriguing one for sure and it will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Maybe he fit onto our system better than the baggettes think. Time will tell obviously but I have a gut feeling this lad will do well, maybe chip in with 10 this season. Messi, no. Bale, doubt it. Maybe a Deano? Bang em in Burky.
