Someone had to say it!

...thank fuck we're not, we're shit enough at Wembley as it is, never mind without fans! Shit ground no fans indeed....

EDIT: 6666th post, rather apt!

Can't say I'm gutted.

Extra game - unneeded fixture congestion.

Empty stadium - shit event.

Very likely defeat - all strong opponents.

Even if we got to the final - another likely defeat.
And Henderson wouldnt have been able to play against Man U if we play them in the semi final or the final.

It's a real shame because in normal circumstances I'm sure we'd have beaten Arsenal and been looking at a trip to Wembley.

But................ expensive.

Its not like we are a Man City or an Arsenal who get to Wembley every year. Obviously I wanted us to win today but there would have been an underwhelming element to getting to Wembley and not being able to go

Would have been one of my worst nightmares! Explaining to my 8 year old that we couldn't go!

Especially if we got Man U and Henderson couldn't play. Wouldn't want a repeat of the other day.

Down to 9th now, been a long time we were that low. Really need a win Thursday.

SEASONS OVER
Has Wilder & Co finally met his Nemesis in Covid 19 lockdown and now has no idea what to do.
Or is it once again the board not putting their hands in their very deep pockets to support him.?

Not seen the blades win a major trophy before and I genuinely thought we had a chance of winning the FA Cup before the break.

I’m gutted.

Oh well, always next season.

At this rate we could be down fighting with West Ham to stay up.
Did someone say Deja Vue or have we been there before !

Do you support Man City by any chance and have a brother who’s a pig?!

Neither . Just being realistic. As I see it being a different supporter in a City of football fanatics it's like as if the wheels have come off the bus. Was so proud of the boys and what was achieved pre lockdown that after so many years we were getting back to the glory days.

I've always thought/hoped that the pinnacle of my time as a Blade would be singing 'Abide With Me' at Wembley before an FA Cup final, blubbing like an absolute baby. More so even than winning it, I think.

Imagine what a kick in the balls it would have been if we'd got there, only to have to sit at home, listening to Steve McManananananaman's empty headed garbage over the top of it.

Obviously wanted us to win but I won’t be losing any sleep over a desolate semi final at an empty 90000 seater Wembley , it was nice to have a bit of a Cup run for the first time in a few years but more than anything FA cup matches are about the atmosphere & crowd which are non-existent

I was gutted we lost on Sunday as thought we had a real chance this year. Always wanted to go to a FA Cup Final, so it would have been strange to have for the Blades to get there and then not be able to go.

Got to say I don't like watching football with no crowds. I'm glad and think it's right for this season to finish but don't think we should start next season until crowds can come back.
