weve bought brayford done several other smaller fees around 2 and half mill in the last year in league one where our peers are spending less or the same
Wednesday so far have spent around 5 m but against peers , like derby boro hull who spend far more

so relatively
yes the owls have spent more than us

why because they have to
even a 3 year old might understand that and to use your argument
Liverpool will have spent more than Wednesday to keep in with their peers

when we get back in the championship , we will have to spend more
its logical

child like in a 3 year old should understand it

Your figures are plucked out of thin air and are wildly innacurate.

Hold on and let me go and get my 3 year old, he's a bit advanced for you but he would be a good starting place.

Personally I have no interest in SWFC transfer strategy other than saying they appear to be giving it a kick, if it goes tits up the fans can't say they didn't try.

More interested in our transfer strategy, or lack of one, and how it continually fails no matter how much the owners say they throw at it.

The Pigs spent 3 million on Forestieri, 2 million on Joao, 750k on Rhoys Wiggins, 300k on Lewis Mcgugan, got Barry Bannan on a free and are paying Gary Hooper 30k a week.

If anyone thinks we are in the same league as those twohats when it comes to spending your dreaming.

Someone at The Theatre of Rust knows how to spot a good player and how to spend the bosses money wisely.

The mugs down at the lane have given us 43 bang average league one players.

No fucking way did they spend those kind of sums
No fucking way
Show me some evidence because foristeiri for s start is more like a 300 k player than 3m

I am sure that I read that Joao was up for sale for 150k Euro's, and the deal fell through, then SWFC went in and bought him.

I did hear a big number for Forestieri, but can't remember what it was.

I also heard 300k for McGugan, which sounded like a bargain.

Forestieri £3mill - http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/shef...m-shooting-star-fernando-forestieri-1-7546812

Joao £2mil - http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/shef...-lucas-joao-joins-on-four-year-deal-1-7387630

Wiggins 750k - http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/shef...-wednesday-continue-wiggins-pursuit-1-7393082

McGugan 300k - http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/shef...dnesday-mcgugan-hits-out-at-hornets-1-7366190

Looks like it was the pigs that got the game changing investment.

All the while we're paying well over the odds for a crowd pleasing striker we didn't even need, another striker we didn't need, of which is nowhere near good enough, a winger among the worst I've seen at the lane, and a makeshift, panic buy of a centre back on the back a four nil drumming on the opening day. All that, and apparently Adkins isn't to blame. His hands are tied, they are, but he made an unbelievable bodge of it while they weren't.

Joao was going on his third transfer in portugal in 3 years before Sheffield Fish Canning services stepped in
hed gone for 200000 euros on both occasions and theyd acccepted 250k euros before the owls snatched him
2 m , yes the same we paid for Done

Post a link to anywhere that states we paid £2 million for Done.

Nah not having it dont believe for one minute they have paid those kind of fees and i will except any evidence aside from newspaper articles especially the fucking stupid star

This is a "newspaper" that started an SOS for The Pigs. NEVER forget that, EVER.
Should be treat with the same disgust and contempt as "The S*n" is on Merseyside.

Yes because that's definitely the same.

dont they have to go up first
before we praise their system

If I recall Wednesday fans came on radio Sheffield the second after we lost in any play off final .
saying we were no good despite finishing 3rd us it had been a wasted season
surely unless they go up , its just the same for them

in fact Id love to see them lose to say Derby in a play off final
rather than just miss out
bet they use words like heroic failure

No one expects us to beat Derby really do they? ( even though we should have ) they have been a stable top club in the championship for a couple of season and have spent well over 30m + we are a new team, new manager and new way of playing and we are just over half a season into that.

Chansiri ? its more chancer
if , nay when the snort beasts fail miserably to go up, the cannery man will have had his one throw of the dice,
hes speculating hoping to accumulate ,
and will come up short

Investing and hoping to make some money off it, well who would have thought that when he bought the club eh?

He won't be having one throw of the dice, did you actually listen to anything he said?

are they really, why are they still 7th then
this is the crux
we are 8th , relatively similar position
we are spending relatively the same for our league as pigs are in theirs

why is it claimed their ploicy is working
but ours isnt

why oh fucking why is their 7 th , thats outside the play offs being classed as success
remind me why
we begged to get rid of Blackwell for finishing ,,, just outside the play offs
now for Wednesday , its genius management
we spent 4 m on one player in those days

and you say I dont see logic

The players being brought in are providing entertainment and results most of the time, this is the first season together and you would like to think they will only get better over time

The players are an improvement on what we have had over the years in terms of ability, attitude, work rate etc so to me something is working somewhere

every chairman , spouts what their wish list is
the reality however is it is more wish than promise
Wednesday have spent more this season
but they were eons behind the top 6 and still need much more investment to challenge

Wish / Promise / Dream that's up to him, if you think I'm going to knock a guy for coming into a club and putting his money where his mouth is then you're wrong.

He's done much more than chuck a few million at transfers so it's not as if he's just giving it a quick whirl to see if he can luck the premier league in 1 or 2 seasons, he's started right at the bottom of the tree and done everything proper, nothing like some "chancer" would operate imo.

Has he sorted your academy out ?
Or are you still in the tent ?
