Wembley - Ticket Details

Once again, we do our bit.
 
I assume from others posts, the online ticket buyers 'delivery' seems to be a bit hit 'n' miss?

Bought ours first thing Sat a.m. and not arrived in the post yet :( Are there any reports of backlog or whatever; and anyone have a clue what to do if they should fail to arrive before Friday?

Same here mate, bought mine roughly 9.15am Saturday. Received the confirmation email and everything but as of yet no tickets.
Sure I read somewhere that if they don't arrive by Wednesday then you need to go to the ticket office and pick them up. Probably give them a bell tomorrow morning and see what the crack is!

If it's any help, I bought mine Friday afternoon and they apparently have arrived today, so I'd imagine yours will probably arrive tomorrow :)

Cheers Bobby; yeah, will see if they arrive in the post tomorrow, but if not, I'll be ringing too.

As for going to the TO, living in Bfd that simply ain't an option. I mean, come on TO, a brief perusal of this superlative forum will demonstrate that many of us don't live in Sheff. So would that mean if they're 'no show' we'd have to collect duplicates from Wembley itself....bloody well hope not :eek:
 
Club message at 12 today said over 21000 have been sold,still 3 days left on ticketmaster and some people seem to think pay day on last friday of the month might shift some more.Proabably get to 23 but you never know.Iwould have bet on 25,000 last week though.No matter though a great day out regardless,i hope everyone enjoys it.

I booked mine 9am Saturday but had no email confirmation but they were here when I got in from work on Monday. Go figure!

30k is a pretty decent turn out in my opinion:
  • people don't have much spare dosh at the moment;
  • we've been to the new Wembley before and in quite recent times so the novelty factor isn't there;
  • we have an appalling history in the playoffs and big games;
  • it's the 3rd tier.

Good show Blades now lets make some noise.
 
Does anyone know what time the ticket office is open till tomorrow and Friday?

Well, you have at least - mine still not here and after a call to the TO yesterday (who were saying that Sat's booking didn't even go out till at least Monday....mmmmm o_O see wardlow's example below) it seems if they're not here by tomorrows post which I reckon is a long shot now, I'll have to call again to arrange duplicates to be picked up at Wembley :rolleyes: As if I ain't got nowt else better to do...

I don't really get my head round how some are being posted/dealt with and some not, i.e. wardlowwanderer above who bought his online 9am Sat and had them delivered Monday????

Bobby Ford = you got yours through yet?

Anyone have a rough idea to how many of us could be affected - don't fancy a huge queue to deal with on Saturday...

I suspect, given they have tickets available on the day, that all TO staff at Wembley will look at you gone out when you try and pick duplicates up. Take your card and be prepared to end up arguing the toss with SUFC about a credit when you get back and your tickets are on the doormat.

Interesting point raul - thing is, I was told by the TO that one of THEIR staff is to be there on the day so as to hand out duplicates (those of us will be put on a list that will then be checked beforehand). Must be said, this is making me pretty pissed off as everything else was comparatively simple and hassle free to organise (i.e. train tickets, hotel etc.)...

Suppose it could be the fault of RM but I suspect not...

- Butchers to pick up Meat
- BP Garage to pick up contingency Gas bottle
- Zug Weather Forecast - 23 oC and Sunny
- TV and Satellite rigged up. Sky Go as back up

Oh and for all results ...
- extra Ice in Freezer
- Cellar full of Malbec and High Quality Champagne....

The BBQ will be fired up at 13:00, slabs of meat will be ready for 14:00...

Im resisting mate, want to but decided against it. Im a stubborn bugger :)

Actually quiet looking forward to not getting as stressed and trying to remain detatched from it... The last part isnt working though.

I do BBQ the Aussie way at home, but do like the BBQ in the wild thing that they have going on over here.
 
The figure from Huddersfield is just over 21,500 - now to have few quid on Town 3-0 ;)
