Only a brave or stupid person would sit behind the goal with Norwood’s shitty shooting. Always sat down them disabled, they want equality yet they get a disability payment and they dont have to queue up for stuff. Lazy fuckers sat on their arses. clamp em !
To be fair, anywhere within 30ft of the goal is dangerous if Norwood is shooting!

Don’t know if any of you more travelled have encountered this, but last week when I was at Villa Park, they now give out a warning that footballs may enter the stand during warm ups. First time I had ever witnessed that.

I did see that actually and immediately thought that fella should get in goal, then immediately after wonder why they'd post wheelchair spots right behind the bloody goal.

The don’t put disabled supporters behind the goal, that cunt wasn’t in his allocated space and was also blocking a gangway.

At one point he was singing,

🎵I’ll sit where I want.
I’ll sit where I want.
I’m fucking disabled.
I’ll sit where I want. 🎵

The only option for the club is to hand out a lifetime banning order for him and his carer or risk having the whole Kop closed for the foreseeable future.

Yes, but, and dont tell anyonelse........, there are 2 halves to the games!, shush though, dont want everyone finding out!, which means, for atleast 45mins, United were shooting at that goal too!, remarkable really, imagine if everyone noticed that!!!
WOW!

To be fair he went at that ball like Jags against Wigan…..all fucking hand

There was a bloke working on his roof three miles outside Nottingham who had to take cover from Norwoods last attempt on goal.

As to the picture, now I'm intrigued by street magic and slight of hand, watching some of the more skilled practitioners and they're pretty slick. If you look carefully, the lad batting the ball away had his other hand in the old fellers pocket. It will only be later that he realises his wallet, watch and possibly his belt have all been lifted 😱😱😱

Don't slag Norwood off eh? He's been our best player for twenty years.

According to some pisswands on twitter, anyway

It's the old red and white tinted glasses coming into play again mate. We used to be a pretty resilient bunch who'd be honest in our opinions, no matter the popularity. Now we're same as the rest, with huge swathes of supporters who can see no wrong. We can get gubbed five nowt at Leicester, be absolute dog shit and you'll still get told that we tried hard, were unlucky and if we get behind the lads and sing for 90 minutes, the world will be reight.I

These are the same bunch who think Monty's a Blades legend, when in fact he was a talentless, splay footed twat @ who wouldn't have got a shirt anywhere else in professional football 👊👊

I look at twitter these days and shake my head. Whilst Norwood has made improvements to his own game (some time after people reckoned he'd be on fire in the Championship when we were looking down the barrel of the PL relegation revolver) it's been a long time coming and it only takes a minor change in the middle of the park by either side to turn him into a traffic cone again. When he kicked that free kick in a bit back you could hear fat streams of thick jizz being pumped from the choppers of the evangelists as if Oliver Has Come Home, yet it was one free kick in what ... twenty ... that he'd managed to aim correctly on target. Lost count of the amount that have ended up in the hands of the supporters behind the goal ... and not via the post or the hands of the goalie. And except for one well saved effort, every other attempt on goal from him has ended up high, wide and handsome, this, from a man with 'sweet feet' we are told (for five seasons). And people still say - straight faced - 'when he plays good, United play good' without realising the logic fault in that statement about him being inconsistent just by saying it.

This season he's been allowed to play how he wants to, unpressured and a lot less susceptible to his dyed-in propensity to fuck up. I give not one fuck about 'stats' or what Sky Sports put up as 'proof' of his worth as a caption. He's just as apt to cancel out all those '1sts' with his other foibles than he is to appear to be 'the best midfielder Sheffield United has ever played'. Fuck me, Michel Brown would destroy him even today in the middle of the park.

Mentioning Michael Brown in the same sentence leaves me feeling a little dirty, think I need a shower now. Different era, different player, light years ahead of Norwood though. I'm not at the level you are, but I can see both good and bad in him. He can pick a 40 yard pass, he can play the short stuff, and he's always available but for me he's just too inconsistent. If you're the midfield general you have to boss the game, every game, and you have to adapt, he doesn't. If an early Hollywood ball works, he'll try them all day, if he gets closed down early on, he'll drop deeper and hide but by the same token, if all are buzzing around him and on their game he'll do a decent job.

His shooting is fucking dire, and for him to consistently boss the game he needs a Trevor Hockey, sadly we don't have one so all we'll ever get from him is inconsistency. There's a lot worse out there, but there's a fair few better too.

He's got Doyle, who has TH in him in parts. Aggressive, positionally astute, forward looking and consistent. Hockey was like that if you recall and he used to play his game like that other midfield maestro Steve Perryman. But Norwood is neither. He's structurally lightweight susceptible to pressure and as said, inconsistent. And the worst part of it (which Doyle can do) is that Norwood cannot carry the ball up the pitch which DMs like Rice for example, does. Starting from deep doesn't always mean 'thump it out wide'. It can mean a progressive advance into space in front. If Basham and Anel can do it, why can't Norwood?

Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for small mercies here especially because Norwood actually IS playing better and is more involved and committed. Sure, he touches the ball a lot more and passes - usually locally and without effect - more. It's indicative if anything of how negative we tend to be in midfield for long stretches of the game as the ball is shunted sideways and backwards with no route forward. No on is advanced enough in midfield to be a conduit to the front two (unless McB and MD drop, which I feel they've been told not to do. So Norwood's only outlet is to find the wingbacks ... largely to see it come back to him via a blocked in path down that flank.

The stats do not point at Norwood's overall effectiveness. All they do is parrot detail, and they don't tell the story. If Norwood played keepy uppy for five times every time he got the ball does that count as five passes? Looks impressive, but it gives us fuck all really.

I'm nervous sat anywhere in the ground tbh
