I think we would have absolutely battered them if we had gone in front.

As it was, as bad as they were all match, I was very happy to take the draw at the end, as I know how spawny they are and I was starting to think they might nick a goal from a fluke gust of wind or something.

We played well, should have won, and gave then a lesson in how to play football. A point isnt the end of the world either. Everyone knows we are streets ahead of them...and importantly, they know it too.

Key to how dominant we were are the number of messages I've received off pigs - nil.

I was the same at about the 88th minute mark I was just saying "Blow yer whistle ref" because I was convinced something totally undeserved would happen. However, we got two further chances in injury time with Sharps header and the free kick

Agree mate, he gave him the eyes as well then kicked it where he was looking. That said, I’m not going to be too critical. Tonight was like a league 2 team scraping a glorious battling draw in the cup against top opposition. Like us under Adkins at ManU. If we’d scored that pen it would have drawn the bastards out and we’d have scored 2 or 3. Trust you are well BTW? UTB!

Well we all do.We are playing well but need a shooter, crosses need to be better. A bit more pace.
Defence was good. Pigs were not a threat at all. Egan looks a good investment a very good CB in every way. We can attract this quality of player and maybe it's time for the owners to give it the big push. If not this season, definitely next.

If they're that bad than we should be putting them to the sword. It's happening too often this season. Birmingham, Derby and Forest were all games where we failed to create enough chances to win one game let alone four or five. Forest and Derby are decent teams granted but they had one moment of quality, we lack that cutting edge. So pissed off tonight.

We’ve played them off the park and I’m deflated, maybe the hoped for hammering will never happen, if that pen goes in we could have got a cricket score because they’d have folded..

I’ve seen us beat them so many times now I’m just waiting for the icing on the cake, should that 4-2 at their gaff been 4-0 I’d have been fine with today, we’re so far ahead of them it was possible today to crush them, another chance passed, possibly why I’m disappointed with a boss performance..

He’s been one of the best for a long while. Very underused by sky IMO.

Sometimes they're saved and sometimes they go in with either a deflection or wrong footing the keeper. I'm not too disheartened as we really went for it. I doubt that we can play much better than that but we must buy a quality striker and attacking Mid that will create and lead to more chances anx shots on goal but they will cost mega bucks!

I am entitled to my opinion. I love Wilder, love the football but we don't create enough chances against defensive teams or against the better sides away from home. Considering the budget we have maybe I should just be grateful. I don't see why that means I need a reality check. Wilder is doing brilliantly as are the team but sadly we don't have a player capable of scoring from outside the box. Or a player who can drop the shoulder, take a man on and get into the box. I'm not trying to be negative, its just that I'm being honest. I'm sorry of that pisses some off but we're all Blades, and not everyone will agree.

Maybe our budget just doesn't allow for that player quite frankly.

I do agree with you and there's always room for improvement. But I think we should still be very happy with the way we are playing and the points we have picked up so far.

Wilder will know what's needed to get to that next level. Let's hope the board allow him to do so.
