Against a United side that needed a result, Warnock would be ploughing his potato field next week.
 
Always thought Warnock might end his career managing one of the smaller south-west clubs. Torquay United are the obvious one. Just avoided relegation from the 6th tier. Warnock was manager there briefly in the 1990's.
 
Can't comment on the whole away end but it was pleasing last night that around me at least, not only did no-one join in with 'there's only one Neil Warnock', but there were numerous hand gestures and attempts to start 'Warnock's a wanker' 🙂👍

well done on staying up but our boys have been partying for the last week and think it showed in 2nd half if we had had anything to play for we would have won that game last night comfortably utb fto
 
Irrespective of last night‘s result, it was a big achievement to even get Huddersfield in with a chance of staying up when they kicked off yesterday and actually well done to the Huddersfield board for getting him in. Don’t get the negativity towards Warnock, he has at least delivered time after time unlike some e.g. Steve Bruce
 

Just seen a clip of Colin from sky sports saying "if I was going to return it would always to be a club I loved you know like QPR, Cardiff Huddersfield are you with me"

Just got me thinking to say he's apparently a fan of the club he never really mentions us or gives a reference after all this time.

I wonder how we went from a talented up and coming team that played exciting football in 2003, to the cheap and nasty shower of shite that couldn’t get a point against an awful Wigan side.

7 years and left us in the same league we started in with a talentless bunch of cloggers.

Remember the good times, but there’s a reason he’s a serial premier league failure.

It wasn't that much money to be honest. Most came on frees. Couple mill a piece on Akinbiyi and (especially) Horsfield wasn't great but both had pedigree at Championship level.

It’s a lot of wages to pay for almost an entire team of strikers that weren’t even in the squad. We were even playing 1 up front half of that season. That’s money that could’ve been invested in young talents that can actually play rather than ‘run and battle like a cracking bunch of lads’.

He had 7 years and the team that got relegated was a cheap, nasty and unwatchable pile of shit. Regardless of tevez, they couldn’t even hoof their way to safety.

Amount of our fans that called geary a ‘legend’ ffs. Some people settle for some right shit

People forget the state of the club before he came, no academy, shit team, shit support , everything shit, most of the stuff we have now was down to the Warnck era, but hes a cunt because he called us Sheffield and praises the team he manages 🤷‍♂️

Absolute crap. Much of what we had in 2003 compared to 2000 when he came was down to Warnock. But most of the stuff we have now is down to Warnock??? If he’d built a young talented side that could actually play proper football in the top flight rather than a team of talentless cloggers you might have a point and even then he never achieved anything as vital as the Wilder ascension from league one.

He left us in the championship with a talentless pile of long ball shit for a squad. After being given 7 years nonetheless.

He didn’t build the academy and the upturn in support was mostly down to Wednesdays collapse.

You really think our support would’ve randomly jumped from 12 to 18,000 because we were being ‘treated’ to a team finishing 10th and 13th in a league most people have little respect for

He was the force behind the academy, our crowds actually went from 9k to average over 30 and havent gone back since then and its got absolutely fuck all to to do with the pigs. You do talk some shit.

He’s a serial top flight failure and got relegated playing long ball after one season.

2003 was an amazing year regardless of the disappointment at the end. But let’s not pretend he left a crucial footballing legacy for a club that’s generally a comfortable championship club anyway.

Wednesday dropping absolutely affected our crowds. We were getting only 17k when we had Deane, Hutchison etc.

What you think all of sudden fans were suddenly enthralled to start turning up to watch us punt it up to Laurent d’jaffo?

He’s one of the better managers we’ve had, in a time of a shite footballing history. We owe next to Fuck all to Warnock apart from 2003.

Regardless of the cheating cockneys, he fucked up in 2007.
