I’d expect nothing more than the usual overreaction (either way) just after a game but I’d maintain that he’s a steady performer, nothing more, nothing less.

In general he never really saves us, and never drops howlers.

Last night we had one (ish) of both.

It’s a position we should look to strengthen next season.

a couple of weeks ago i posted something along the lines of 'when did our keeper last win us the game' and that i didn't think they were making a difference. That is how a keeper makes a difference. that was a season (not game) defining save. if they'd have got 2-2 the season could have crashed right there.

Same as our last promotion to the prem. Paddy saved a pen in the run-in also against Reading. Could be an omen.

Both keepers have stepped it up the last three months

As they were getting set for the pen you could see Moore talking to someone Mon or near the bench, confirming that Moore was going to his right.
It was so obvious I thought he was making sure the penalty taker had seen him and was going to go the other way....

Not sure if it was Blackman or someone else that was confirming which way to go.
