Well done Reedy!

No surprise, he's done well most times he's played this season. It's been too long since he started. He should be featuring more regularly now, it has to be the time to put him in. Ideally in a three man midfield every week.

Sorry don't rate him at all. Not been there so well done to him if he's had a good game but I can sense an overreaction here similar to the one Coutts got a few games ago, which has since dissipated.

I've been impressed with him this season. He has obvious flaws but he's not let us down much this season. The issue is he's another who can't play in a 2 and Adkins loves the 4-4-2. Hopefully we will stick with 3 in midfield now

Always did like him. Played most of the
Game at Swindon - great one. Glad to see the back of Woolford and Sammon
Better still when Hammond fucks off.

He is a very good talent and should certainly be played more, he is only 18 years old! If used right could become a great player for us.

Give him a few games for next season...well done lad..

He can pass a ball forward even if his form is a bit erratic. We need to persevere. We still need to win 10 out of 16, so we need to put the players in that can be positive on the ball.

Difficult for you to judge him on today's perforamce Barney as you don't go to games. He was the stand out player on the pitch today. Very impressed with him

Didn't hear the game today but scanning all the comments on Twitter the majority of people who went have him as man of the match.

Been out of form for about a year now but before that I thought he had the makings of a fine player so glad to see him getting back there, we need something different in midfield from what we have been putting out there recently.

Barney does not rate him but I do, and as we all know I'm right and he's wrong.

Conflicting opinions from what alcoblade's said but as I say well done to the kid if he's had a good game. I just don't think much to him, never have.

Didn't go today so won't start singing his praises, although it sounds like he played well. Just a reminder to any critics that he's 18 years old... 18 years old!!

He'll keep improving for at least the next 5-6 years so any experience we can give him now will only benefit him further down the line.

Reed , being so young will need games , to gain confidence and improve , he has been one of our brightest prospects , lets hope hes starting to show he has the capability to be a regular.
Hes shown before he has the talent , lets hope its beginning to shine through

When Reed plays in a three man midfield away from home in particular, he does well, and we don't lose.

Swindon away - won 2-0
Bradford away (second half) - 2-2 comeback after 4-4-2 in the first half
Burton away - 0-0 - solid
Donny away - won 1-0

Three of those were without Hammond.

This is definitely noteworthy.

When I've seen Reed this season it's not necessarily the technical side that's stood out, it's his defensive game, he seems to have improved considerably. He puts more pressure on opponents than just about any of our other midfielders, picks up his fair share of second balls and can put tackles in.

Played well today ...looked like 4231 with Reedy alongside Hammond and Che up top...Che did well up top aswell and good finish from Baxter's pass..pity Reedy didn't cap it off with the chance 2nd half...comfortable win for a 1-0..Donny looked really poor.UTB!

I was there. He was okay, but if that is the standard we are lauding then best get ready for a good few more years in the third division.

What do you think he could have done better?

Early on he was pulling the strings. Showed a lot of promise. Faded a bit.

They were the worst team we've played I reckon so not much to go on.

Has to do better near goal.

There was the obvious chance, but also two ridiculously wild volleys - one in either half - that I think he would have done a lot better with in the warm up or in training.

He was okay today. Some good stuff, some average stuff, a couple of howlers.

In the end, he's too small. With that physique, you have to excel at something (strength, pace, skill, tackling). He excels at nothing.

He's no different to a dozen other dross players we have, but we must move on from this standard if we want to progress.

I think his touch and composure is superb for his age, and already miles ahead of players like Hammond and Basham. If encouraged to be even more adventurous with his passing and take even more responsibility to make things happen I think he'll improve a lot. Hopefully he'll keep working on his weaknesses too.

I will bare my arse on the town hall steps if he forges a career above the third division. I'll happily stand to be corrected.

And I agree he has a better touch than our other midfielders. No surprise then that were stuck where we are.

But I shouldn't pick tonight to make the point. We've won and the masses will think we're great. Until we lose, when they'll tell us everything is shit. :)

PS I was there today. The rave reviews are a measure of our piss poor expectations, IMHO.

Personally I think Reedy has struggled this season but today was his best performance by a country mile and if that doesn't give him confidence nothing will. Better suited to a 5 man midfield. Well done Louis!

P.S. Do you rate anyone Barney? Give credit where credit is due. He's still a young lad. Long way to go yet
