Although I'm sure that we all recognise the fact that we're fortunate to have two good 'keepers, I thought it was worth mentioning Turner's contribution last night. IT came in at the last moment, and it seems his performance from the outset was exemplary. As a few of you will know, it's not easy form me to attend games, so if I'm in anyway incorrect in my praise of Turner please feel free to comment.

It would appear that we have two good goalies at United, something that sometimes goes unnoticed. UTB

Nice to be confident in your 'keepers, isn't it? Having grown up with the Benstead / Tracey / Kelly / Rees progression, it feels comforting that we're not reliant on an outfielder or rookie should we suffer an injury.

Certainly done a steady job and kept us in the game whenever we have needed him.

His near post save after 40 seconds or so last night was vital. Had that gone in the game may have played out in a completely different way.

What about his butterfingers moment late in the game? Took brilliant blocks by Basham and McEverley to prevent Colchester scoring again

Only seen him against swindon where he aquitted himself brilliantly, we shouldn't put our goalies under too much scrutiny because normally they need a clean sheet for us to get owt in a match... big pressure you know, and they're both very good considering the task their up against...
