I feel sorry for Connor Sammon. He used to be a decent player but for some reason he has been useless ever since he stepped into Bramall Lane, and probably before that since Derby were happy to see him leave town for a year and obviously hoped he never came back. I don't think he was ever very good. A while back my Scottish Hibs mate told me he only got a big move on the back of a decent half season at Killie where he got a few goals and bagged a big money move to Wigan.

I refereed at northern counties level , and while working up in scotland went to see forfar play stranraer about 4/ 5 years ago

the quality was woeful, players I reffed in the northern counties had more skill the goalies made Long look like gordon banks
