Where are the squad numbers for the new season then? Previously this announcement has been part of the pre-season ritual, but time is running out.
Are we waiting for the actual shirts to arrive before making the final decision just before kick-off on Monday?
For what it's worth, I think he will keep to last season's for the most part. Khadra will have wanted 7 but it seems unlikely he'd get if off Brewster.
Come on Ecky, some of us (not many, I'll grant you) care about these things.

Do we have to name a squad before 2nd September ?
We could have 1 to 11 for all matches before then ??

If a player uses a number in the domestic league or cup, that's his number unless sold or changed close season.

So if we lineup 1-11 on Monday, those players will keep those numbers

One thing I'd like to see assuming he is with us for the new campaign is Starboy weraring the Number 10 shirt. He's up there with TC, Deano and Sabs and that number has special memories for most of us. If No 29 has some personal importance to Illy fair enough, otherwise chuck that shirt at him!
