Great finish from Webber last night - evidence of the decent player we knew and loved, sort of, a few years ago.

Think it was Tonge who fell over in midfield trying to turn that directly led to a Portsmouth goal.

See Stoke players were involved in a mid-air emergency on way back.

It always amazes me why they bother flying like this - especially when roads would be empty. Would it really save that much time. They had to get to Southampton airport and were flying to East Midlands. By my reckoning a coach averaging 75 would get back to Stoke in 3 hours and by time you've arsed about getting on and off the plane I just don't see the point.

Have United ever flown? Think we have to Southampton?

Not sure it was Tonge who fell, think it was Glenn Whelan.

Is this like you talking to yourself?

Brain dump thread for Micalijo.

Or do you want replys? :D

Yes!! Bit of time on my hands today! I am a green campaigner as well and hate these flights.

put yourself in stokes shoe though the bus trip will get them back in the middle of the night and the flight probably around midnight obviously not last night because it went wrong but it wouldn't disrupt any training plans and now they will have to be given the morning off or if they had taken the coach in the first place the morning off as well

75 MPH?
Average?
On a Coach?
What coaches do you travel on?
'Jenson Buttons Stretched Veyron Coach Tours'?

I'd say it'd be more like an average of 50 MPH

Many Stoke players probably live in posh Cheshire, closer to Manc airport than Stoke.

I have a great affinity for Slough as the Office was based there (even if it wasn't filmed there)

Burnley must be the worst of the lot.
Yes but the point of that was the fact that Slough was a mundane, concrete shit-hole!

Would you like in Stoke dkc?

On my travels with work I have only come across two places worse and that's Blackburn and Luton

Have you been to Hull???

And Robbie has a point, what about Burnley?
