There's bound to ice on roads/pavements around BDTBL will how cold it's going to be tonight. There not going to call match off for safety concerns for fans are they?

No there isn’t. Stop it.This BBC forecast is way out of line with other forecasters. Google and the Met Office have forecast much milder temperatures. Judging by the "Sheffield Weather Page" site run out of Millhouses, it's currently - 0.8°c on the live temperature gauge. It could well drop another 5°c but I doubt it will hit minus double figures. There's still a definite threat of the game being called off though if the pavements are icy.

It's not wishful thinking. I'd love the game to be on. We've been here before with last minute postpoments, that's all. I'm sure it will be fine for most people who are careful. No there isn’t. Stop it.
It's not Amey. It's MFG. Most of whom are shipped in daily from Derby and the surrounding area on a sub contract. Amey only supply the grit wagon drivers.Wouldn't trust amey to put salt on a bag of chips never mind on the streets around the ground.
Is there an inspection planned for tomorrow? If so, when? Luton fans will need to know whether the game's on or not before they set off.
Presume they will look at surrounding streetsWhat is being inspected that might be an issue? The pitch is going to be fine

Under Pass Heating? The game will be on, theyve already said the UPH is on and so are the Desso lights.
If they set off Friday evening and the match is called off Satdi, they can still have ‘A night out in Sheffield’.Is there an inspection planned for tomorrow? If so, when? Luton fans will need to know whether the game's on or not before they set off.

I remember ours once being called off but a sky fixture in the PL going ahead despite identical concerns. It is ridiculous these days when games get called off because of snow and ice around the grounds. What did we do for the previous 100 years ???
