Checked my iPad app and it’s forcast to be heavy continuous rain from 2pm to midnight on Friday.
Temperature is decent though, not that cold at 10 degrees.
Hope the rain doesn’t effect the pitch or the match too much.

Just add this to the piggy list of excuses.

I’ll stop at home and watch it on Red Button then.

Making it all the more easier for shots from range to be fumbled by the keeper....
shit :(

I remember about 10 years ago when it had recently snowed, prior to our home game with them. Everyone* was throwing snowballs with stones inside at their escort, as it passed the bottom Denby Street/Bramall Lane.

*Myself excluded.

I never was a very good dancer, and I'm struggling with the footwork. Hoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoy. Hoyoyoyoyoyoy ;)

Nowt better than a rainy night match when it's relatively mild.

We'll be able to zip the ball about quicker, and their defenders are clumsy fuckers at the best of times.

Boo! Can you bring an umbrella into the Lane or is that considered an offensive weapon now? ☔

A Friday night under the lights at the lane, with drizzle in the air, helping our slick, crisp passing, them falling all over the place trying to cope with us has a nice enough ring to it for me. :)
From another thread. :)
