We were hit by the lucky stick today

I’m not sure we were lucky at all. Good equaliser, clear red, obvious penalty and missed better chances to make it 3-1 than any Swansea had to make it 2-2. We managed the game poorly in the last 20 but Swansea didn’t create anything.

Easily the better team for 45 minutes. Got it in our locker to turn it on when needed. Promotion performance.

If their lad goes down in the box under contact from RND then its a pen and a red card, so in that sense we were lucky.

But aside from that, deffo red, great second half and up the blades!

Agree that he was card happy and they knew falling over every time got them a yellow only time they didnt and Ref didnt give anything

Always delighted with a win, but except for ten minutes in the second half we were poor. RND a bomb scare, could have given a penalty away, harsh sending off and then struggled to keep possession. Oh well, we are top of the league!!
Are you kidding !! It was a fkng terrible challenge. Given Brewster's injury record no wonder united players went apeshit.

You’ve still got to put the ball in the onion bag we did twice they only did it once on a cold damp night away from home who wouldn’t want to take the win?

Game of 2 halves..classic example

Genius half time 3 subs swans came into the game bruised by the 0-3local derby defeat and were chomping at the bit. We struggled to hold them still easing in our first choice players and then taking hold of the 2nd half ending having had more chances than the swans

He nearly had RNDs shirt off his back. It was 6 and 2 threes, but agreed, if the striker fell over, the ref would have given it.

We were lucky in more ways than one this evening. Going into the weekend with the chance to get more players back to full fitness, we've given BBD 45 mins and should get a few signings through the door this week. After a torrid few games over Christmas, and with Leeds playing Burnley whilst we have 4th from bottom Hull at home and a few easy games following that, we've overcome our trickiest spell and got ourselves into a position where we can really press on.

In 3 weeks time, the table could look really interesting for us

Lucky or not I hope Chris puts a reminder in his phone or outlook calender for Friday

Play midfielders in midfield, and left backs at left back. Leave RND at home.

Then we might start like Sheffield United, not the Dog and Duck.

Harsh sending off 😀

Felt a bit sorry for their player because it wasn’t deliberate and there was no malice.
Think it was a bit of clever play by Brewster, nipping in and just getting his toe to it and then taking a foul which looked really bad.
However it’s one of them, if he wasn’t sent off then he’d have been really lucky.

In todays game most refs give a red and I think VAR would just agree with the refs decision and not overturn it.

To be honest…it was a difficult night for ref…with so many 50/50 and 60/40 decisions.
Refs often try to even things up but he didn’t buckle under the pressure from the Swansea fans and players.
