now look at us, 0-5 and we have lost to the big teams of:

Bristol City
Swansea
Millwall
MBoro
Ipswich, and also throw in Brum!

No matter how you look at it, there has been a royal screw up somehere between May and September or 4 months or 16 weeks, or 112 days.....

That's a really impressive set of teams we have lost to and only scored 1 goal!

If you're including Brum fiasco then we have 2 goals in total.

I find this club's relentless ability to get it wrong and fuck it all up when the endgoal is in sight astonishing. We've managed a spell as a PL yo-yo club with a top half finish for basically nothing in return. We've seen Villa, Forest and now Sunderland all go past us in sliding doors moments, the latter two now playing in Europe and the third one looks like they could stage a good fight to survive. Every single time we get ourselves close to a position of success and where we want to be (an established PL team) something conspires against us or we fuck it up and crumble to ashes. It is astonishing how repetitive it is. And now, here we are, one season left of PL money and rock bottom of the Championship having sacked a manager who would have had us up in literally any other Championship season, replaced by a donkey who only knows relegation fights (and look where it got us). Season already over even if we change imo and frankly the COH vision is in tatters. I don't think we will be back in the PL for a while.

I wasn't as pissed off last night as I was the last time I saw United, which was the play off final. Probably expectations were a lot lower and of course yesterday we never got into a winning position to chuck it away with negative tactics.

I thought we played OK first half, and had it not been for playing CB at RB and Brooks having less control and shooting ability than our cat we may have been in front.

Second half unfortunately a different story.

I was saying the same to my dad yesterday. I can picture myself at Wembley in the concourse at half time thinking "Fucking hell we might do this, we are bossing this game, they look terrified of the occasion, it's our if we want it". How we fucking conspired to lose that game and now find ourself in this position is quite ridiculous really. United never fail to amaze me, just when you've thought you've seen every disappointment possible.

If Brooks taps that sitter in....
You've got to laugh...only United.
