There are very few players who come out of that with any credit.

Howard, J-Mac, Edgar, McNulty, JCR, Woolford, Basham - woeful
Collins, Reid - OK
Sharp, Freman - good

It's hard to judge the subs as they were playing against a totally different Bradford team who were tired and sat back.

Alcock - ok
Baxter - Did well, but had all the space in the world to do so. It would have been a different story if he started
Sammon - OK

I agree mostly but I'd say Howard and Basham were okay. Howard gets a lot of stick but at this level he is decent and hasn't had a "terrible" performance all season.

Bash seems to be getting the blame for the first goal, there's two players that were at fault more than him... Edgar for heading the ball to the goal scorer and JCR for not following HIS man. Basham was static in position to sweep anything up if the cross went near post. I don't think you could blame him for that goal.

I thought Howard was at least partially responsible for both goals. He's also a dreadful communicator with the back four.

Basham should have dealt with the danger on the second but it looked to he like Howard gave him a call. He's an odd midfielder who has very little in the way of control, positioning or anticipation.

We got in trouble because of 2 clangers from Edgar, which boosted Bradfords confidence
We look a much better side on the front foot ,for obvious reasons
but Adkins gets to change half that team when Done Brayford and Wallace are fully fit and a couple of decent loans ,
we like any club need our better players playing

We can't change the tempo, the players can't pass quickly - they're shit. McNulty is crap when he starts, Woolford is crap altogether, JCR is playing badly today and we are losing the battle in the middle.

And we can't rely on the defence to look after itself so the midfield has to babysit somewhat. This is awful.
Good call Loughborough

I take the communication there was a moment in second half when the ball was just going to bounce through to Howard and Edgar headed it away then the ball came back at us.

I don't think Basham is a midfielder he's a CH that clough forced into CM and there is no one better at the minuite.

The fortunate second half comeback doesn't invalidate what's been said about that utterly diabolical first half.

What that first half showed is that we are nowhere near good enough in terms of personnel - we matched up with Bradford formation wise and we were so inferior it was embarrassing. Smaller, weaker, slower and technically no better either. It made me angry watching it. Yet it didn't come as any surprise at all, I knew what to expect when I saw our line up and it only took a few minutes of the game to become apparent.

He's not though. He's supposed to be a defensive midfielder, that's where he's played most of his career. Clough forced him into CH.
I do think he's a better CH than a central mid in a 442 though.

It's so slow, pedestrian passing. We go from side to side because we don't have anyone apart from Baxter who dares to pass forward (on the floor I mean, McEveley loves knocking it down the left high) which means we have to start him every game possible.

We need more strength, more leaders, and certainly another centre half and left back. Replacing Murphy is also imperative, it would be criminal to rely on ache when he's a 19 year old striker. Woolford is anonymous and JCR flatters to deceive. We lack pace, we lack ideas, and without Billy upfront we really would be fucked.

Kudos to Howard, Freeman, Basham (2nd half), Reed, Baxter, Sharp and Sammon today. The rest of you were shameful, embarrassing is too kind. Offered less than nothing.

Why should I? It doesn't take away from the first half performance.
We were much better in the second but were we really THAT good? As good as we were Bradford were bad.

no problem to me, but glad YOU are bringing a touch of BM to S24SU.

Keep it up..................

We can't attack or defend, we don't create and we can't sit and dig in.

McEveley, Woolford, Collins and a very inconsistent JCR. FFS does it get any worse than this? We have no one on the bench to change the game.

Incompetence all round from board level all the way down for 5 years.

As good as Adkins may be he isn't a miracle worker, the squad he's got to use is awful and I don't really think we've got the type of coin we think we have to solve it.

We really are shite.

How about stop moaning when it's not even half time?

Have to say, even I kept my powder dry at half time. It was good to see Adkins react and I was impressed with how he changed it.

We played poorly first half, there's no doubting that. We got stung at the start of the second half. We made changes, dominated for periods of the second half and got a draw. So, despite seeing all the areas of concern, I am not slashing my wrists just yet.

Many teams would've crumbled at 2-nil down away from home. With the formation change and subs, a spirited comeback in the second half.
Bring on Donny on Saturday!

In my view, there has been a ridiculous amount of criticism levelled at Reed over the last couple of seasons. He's only just 18 and playing in a position where he'll improve with growth.

Has anyone else noticed that he's doing everything right footed at the moment?

Exactly it is difficult to slag off Reed when he is still learning every time he plays.

Did you not moan about the Colchester game at half time then?

No because it was only half time.

The overreaction on here since the Colchester game has been embarrassing to be honest. You'd think we were in the bottom four.

People were even comparing the performances to the dreadful start under Weir. What. Fucking. Shit.

Hahahahaha, so the dreadful first halves that set us up with an uphill task, don't concern you? What. Fucking. Shit.
We've got 1 point from Bury, Colchester and Bradford. any concerns are justified.

Losing 1-0 at half time away from home to a decent team doesn't warrant mass hysteria.

Do you always stamp your feet and cry when you don't get what you want ?

I didn't realise complaining about the recent awful performances and results was akin to 'stamping my feet and crying'?

The way we played in the first half did, and if you don't think so you're crackers.
We leave it till the hour mark before we get going, we don't play for 90 minutes, we aren't going to win many games doing that.

We're bottom of the table on league form in the last 3 games and all this stems from our first half performances, it's not rocket science nuddy. These things are worth discussing.

I can only assume you've not seen the last few games.

Apalling isn't the word.

I can't get past the first line of that post without reading it in 'John Barnes rap style'.
