As good as Adkins may be he isn't a miracle worker, the squad he's got to use is awful and I don't really think we've got the type of coin we think we have to solve it.

Absolutely fascinating stuff. I've not been (or even bothered watching on TV), but the reactions in this thread - from the first half to the 'revival' - speak volumes.

We're shit, there's no denying that. But our problems are so obvious that even a half-decent manager can put them right. Over to you, NA.

You would think two different teams for us today yet again gifted two goals away, much better after the subs came on in the end maybe we could have pinched a win. A fair result I suppose but we have to be much better than we were in that dire first half.

For me Edgar was worse than Collins and McEverly today! Stupid fouls (same can be said for McEverly). Partially at fault for both goals and missed several clearances for me one of the worst performances on the pitch.

Alcock looked decent when he came on, I doubt it will happen but I'd start him over McEverly.

For me Billy was our best player great Movement off of the ball and was a handful for their defence, deserved his goal.

I'd be tempted to start the next game with the line up we finished with today. Maybe start JCR/Adams(dependent on fitness) instead of mcnulty.

I still think we need a hell of a lot more movement in the middle of the park, we are going long all the time and that seemed to be our only threat.

Also what are we doing from throw ins? We just stand there for 5/6 seconds with no one making a move to receive the ball then when the fans start shouting someone finally moves.

S**t first half performance again but much better after the substitutions.

Collins, Reid - OK
Sharp, Freman - good

It's hard to judge the subs as they were playing against a totally different Bradford team who were tired and sat back.

Alcock - ok
Baxter - Did well, but had all the space in the world to do so. It would have been a different story if he started

Some people moan that Baxter is a lazy bastard - and I agree at times he is. However, he is pretty much the only player we have who can see a killer pass and make it. Ive decided I'd rather have lazy and a bit shit to just generally shit all the time. The rest of our midfield are so totally predictable and negative its depressing. No supply to the front players at all until Baxter came on.

In my view, there has been a ridiculous amount of criticism levelled at Reed over the last couple of seasons. He's only just 18 and playing in a position where he'll improve with growth.

Has anyone else noticed that he's doing everything right footed at the moment?

I said this the other day. As bad as he was and can be its vital we shoehorn him into the side - it suits all of our players that we play a 4-3-3, Baxter the main benefactor.

And they were dire second half, but it's not like we missed a load of great chances. One goal from an error and the other a wonder goal.
