Higdon improved second half and I think works better with another striker with him. Let's face it Porter is the man who needs to go. Higdon's first touch is usually much better than Porters and if the cross is decent enough Higdon looks like he can score. COG and McNuts to start yes but Higdon is an option from the bench still.

I agree Scoogs and Jose need to be benched as well.

Sorry, who replaces Flynn and his position from last year? The replacement for Coady would be Basham and he's doing it earlier than Coady started to show better form. Then again is Basham a replacement for Collins or Doyle. I think Bash could be next Captain.
Think Scougall definitely needs a rest and I think that would be Reed. Flo needs a spell of bench appearances first. Think he's playing tomorrow though.

Whilst I like Flynn as a player and I'm happy for him to be in the side, be that at right back or on the right hand side of midfield, I think those lauding him as the new Brayford are wide of the mark. JB was more than just a good right back. He was a cult figure, whose enthusiasm, determination and beard lifted the entire team and fan base. As good as Flynn is, he just doesn't have the impact and infectious enthusiasm that improves the whole team's performance.

I agree Higdon is more a goalscorer but to say his first touch is better than anyones is pushing it.

Aren't we being a bit previous here? After 10 or so games maybe but theres a way to go. I like the fact that Flynn can push on and isn't scared of getting into the box but Cuvelier has only just got back into the team. Time will answer the question.

Flynn should play right back more often as we he superb yesterday! Cuvelier will definitely be given more of a chance to be in the first team squad.
Higdon had a slight improvement in the second half when McNulty came on.
