I said we are top of the League

:)

It's tight though and this league has to be the most exciting of them all this season - even though it is cr@p!

2 points separate the top 6 and league leaders are changing nearly as often as I change my underpants - sorry no tap in, I change them everyday...

:D

Immense 3 points today.

Well done to Danny and the team.

Now Favs for Auto ?

Hopefully last season's failure where we only had to win X of last few games should give us some experience in this run-in. Hopefully others are going to shit themselves and crack under pressure. Brilliant result today.

I think others are faltering and I think we have learned from Chedwyn's absence. We've got more strikers than you can shake a stick at.

Incredible recovery to be top after the post-Chrimble implosion.

UTB!

Fantastic. Well done to all the lads, Danny and over 1100 Blades. Brilliant, brilliant win.

You know, you can talk about young players all day (and some of us are ridiculously obsessive about it) but what is making a huge difference is Kitson, Robson and Higginbotham. Three lads who have seen and done it all yet remain dedicated, committed professionals. Exactly what we need for the run in.

Priceless.

Just missing Monty really!

Probably the best I've seen Higginbotham play for us today. Very solid, won plenty in the air, and in the 2nd half very nearly created a goal from a great piece of footwork in the box.

Kitson was superb. First time I've seen Robson live - clearly a clever player but looked frequently off the pace - I was amazed DW didn't sub him about 20mins earlier.

I can't find my post or remember which thread it was but before the Coventry game, I'm sure I said 1defeat and 1 draw in the next 8 games...

3 games to go and we are currently W4 D0 L1

Kitson surely Player of the Season? He's getting better (and fitter, I would suggest) all the time. He put in a Herculean shift against Colchester and sounded as though he was all over the game today?

Really happy with the result but we need to pick up 3 points on Tuesday now. We are in a great position and now is the time to kick on and really establish ourselves as the team to keep up with. Tuesday is a massive game now.

Every game is a massive game now.

Got to agree, Kitson was awesome this afternoon. On his own up front, easily Man of the Match for me.

Superb win today and I think we're better set up for the final matches than this time last year. A player of Kitsons quality and experience is absolutely invaluable and a real bonus. I think we should have no problem attracting good quality players like him, as Utd must surely be an attractive proposition for any thirty plus Premiership footballer who's not quite ready to hang his boots up.

The problem is when they turn up for the love of the money and not for the love of the game. I am however firmly of the opinion that Kitson falls into the latter category, which is credit to him.

UTB

After faltering mid-race, the favourite thoroughbred Sheffield United - out of Bramall Lane - has surged to the front of the field.

With the final furlongs unfolding, a roar of the crowd has made his ears prick up and put on a spurt. Urged on by jockey Wilson (;)) and with nostrils flaring he thunders down the home straight...

Can you change the saddlecloth from blue to red please?

;)

Tuesday is the 1 year anniversary of our defeat at the Sty - I think this match will prove to be just as vital at the end of the season.

Looks like a blue and white lasagne to me.

Thank God we don't have to play Findus FC.

I believe it was McCabe - or his son - who persuaded Kitson to join us.

Credit where credit's due....

Just watched the epic 20secs of video on the football league show on catch up, I find it hard to believe that a game between the top 2 teams would not be the featured match and was hoping to see a bit more after a weekend in Liverpool (what a fucking shithole that place is).
Great result anyway and we can truly say it is in our hands now, keep winning and we go up whatever the rest do.
