Well fuck me. I've just read through a few comments about the match last night. young players getting slaughtered because they are going through the sort of blip in form all young kids go through, the manager getting some stick and a special mention goes to the couple of old twats who sit near me on the South Stand who sit there moaning about John Lundstram who is doing a difficult job of replacing the irreplaceable Paul Coutts, and has done a decent job so far. Seems to me like a lot of these so called supporters laying in to the club are the same twats who didn't want to know when we was on our 6 years of purgatory, traipsing round the pub league, and when we did have something to properly moan about. I'd have been happy with 21st this season. We are 4th in the table. Just let that sink in.

(Although I think it more likely he will depart on his own accord in about 18 months for someone with the budget of a Wolves or the like)

If we play like we did last night for half or two-thirds of the remaining fixtures then I guarantee we will be in the mix at the top end of the table.

Some perspective needed. Of the world-ending run of four games without a win, we've only played badly against Milwall; defended badly but otherwise did alright against Fulham; totally dominated Birmingham without creating a right lot; and comprehensively outplayed one of the best teams in the division, Bristol City.
