We ain’t got a barrel of money
Cos Mccabe sold his half in a hurry
To some Prince for a quid
Since then they’ve both hid
We want change
We want United back
Repeat louder and louder, every game, every minute between now and the end of the season. Part protest, part appeal for investment. We need them to hear every week (not that they ever go) that it's not a few keyboard wielding people but the entire ground that wants answers and wants change.
Adkins says he wants everyone to be together. Well this way we can be, only all together asking for one thing. More transparency from tChange in the ownership or a change in the approach of the ownership. The team out there every week shouldn't care if we're making a ton of noise against the owners in the stands, as far as there concerned if we're concentrating on the owners we aren't frustrated at the players so maybe it will take the pressure off them for once and given Adkins what he craves. Then it gives him no opportunity to play the 'fan' card. People may argue it could unsettle the players, but I think a wall of noise for 90 minutes would do the opposite.
I think there are other things we could do to turn this into an appeal for investment led by us, the fans, rather than any traditional protest but for now let's start with the above.
