West Broms fire power is mind blowing and they should be walking this league. Looking at their goals against compared to clubs around them, I can only assume their defence is letting them down. Matty Phillips seems to be their main provider ( how I wish we had signed him permanently when we had him on loan). Tough match ahead for sure, though they struggled to get a point at Swinesville. For us to get anything from the match will be a big boost.

Probably. They can't wear their home as there's too much white. Their 2nd kit is dark blue/sky blue but has dark shorts which clash with ours. They could go 2nd kit with home shorts, but then if they did that,what's the point in that god awful 3rd kit?

They got Barnes and we signed Woodburn! If it was the other way round we'd be 5-6 points above Norwich be now! That's not to fault Wilder, but just annoying that Woodburn hasn't come off. Wilson at Derby is another that I would have loved at the Lane.

Point taken Dkc but still think they are the strongest team in the league. We are capable of beating them if we are on our A game and I'm disappointed if we lose any game but it wouldn't come as a surprise.

The big difference is that Barnes and Wilson were both on loan in the Championship last season, so as it transpires they're probably a lot more developed than Woodburn. I'm not disagreeing with your point here btw, I would've loved for us to sign one of those two (or Mason Mount who had a full season in the Eredivisie last year, so falls into the same kind of category).

I thought Woodburn would be good to go in the Championship having made it to international level - obviously not given the minutes he's had so far.

I'd hope that any young players we take on loan in future are in that "second spell" stage of their career. That said, Wilson and Barnes were impactful in their first loan spells, but they were both at struggling clubs (Hull and Barnsley) so were able to get plenty of time on the pitch.
