Yeah, going to a -30000 average attendance club and leaving a +40000 club. Some choice.

This is from a sky sports presenter. This won’t be made up.

Surly WBA have spoken to his agent and received some sort of feedback. But reading the court case it seems behind the scenes are a mess.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the interest was invited by Wilder to put pressure on those above.

However If Wilder thinks that managing West Brom would be A better situation considering their owners then he is mistaken. Happy to give him a lift down, kick him out of my moving half way down the M1. Just joking Chris :p

It was a mess behind the scenes last season when Wilder was linked with Sunderland. We'd just finished 10th in the league after pushing for top six for the first half of the season. Yet he stayed, and look what happened!

West Brom are also fucked behind the scenes and are preparing for another season in the Championship. Whereas we're about to embark on our first Premier League campaign in 12 years.

If I was Wilder I'd stay with the Blades, no question asked.

They're interested because their first choice is too expensive.

Hardly a ringing endorsement.

He'd be mad to there having got us up.

6 months in he'd be on his way for the first time in his life it they're not in touch with the top two.

The other man's grass isn't always greener, no matter how weedy our patch may look.

It's a repeat of the Sunderland scenario last year.

Not happy with your pre-season transfer kitty? Plant rumours around taking the vacant manager position at another club, hold your bosses to ransom and receive the fruits of your cunning manoeuvres.

CW is a smart cookie, we should know this by now. It's how we are where we are.

Earlier this week I was at a business function and someone who works in the Sky Sports department

Many of their 'rumours' this time of year comes from agents trying to generate interest in a player or trying to ascertain if their is an interest. It is also a less than subtle way of clubs trying to 'tap up' players and managers

Sky Sports presenters won't make things up......but the people who provide them the information often do.

Basically they are a TV version of a tabloid and they work on the basis some of the news items they send out will stick ( Yes, that is what this person said)

It’s like deja-vu ha ha, next thing Wilder will be replacing Zidane at Real Madrid.

Scattergun approach, think of a manager, tell a journalist, watch it launch on SKY, then hundreds of silly twats will post it on football forums.

Easy peasy 100 pages

Already seeing a downside to promotion is the plethora of click-bait, ITK, full-of-crap blogs that have emerged from nowhere.
Really have to filter hard to find any proper news at the moment..

...in that order

It’s the kind of logical article that I’d believe myself.

Manager takes boyhood team to Premier League from league 1 in 3 seasons then fucks off to a Championship team before he’s had a chance to lead them out in the Premier League. Makes perfect sense doesn’t it?!

🎶 Just because you read it in a magazine or see it on a TV screen don't make it factual 🎶

According to sky there is a premier league club interested as well, things would have to be worse behind the scenes than any of us are aware of for this to happen, I am not suprised at the interest the profile of Wilder has gone through the roof, take it as a complement, as I say things behind the scenes would have to be shocking for it to happen, nothing is impossible but I cannot see it happening.

They do realise that we’re in the PREMIER League and West Brom are in the second tier don’t they? In what crazy mixed up universe could the set of owners of a newly promoted Premier League club be so inept and up they’re own bickering arseholes that they’d even let a lower league club to consider that they’d have a chance of luring their highly rated manager away? There’s £millions at stake, they’d have to be total buffoons to even allow it get to that stage, incompetent, hopeless fools.

It’s just pure fantasy, media talk, they’re not that bad.....are they?:rolleyes:
