Everyone says they are spending their inflated ticket prices - and I don't know how much they are paying in wages - but how much have the actually spent on transfer fees do you think? These are their signings:

With regards to their signings, I have a couple of business colleagues who are huge football fans, one of them supports RC Lens, and gave me the inside track on Mammadov, once his name was linked with S6, saying something like "you will have fun with your rivals if Mammadov gets involved", in other words, a conman is taking over at S6.

The other is a Swedish bloke who lives and breathes football, and I mean "lives and breathes". He is the sort of lad who will tell you about some great player who only makes the bench at Juventus, or he will decide on a Friday afternoon to buy a cheap plane ticket and fly to the UK, Spain, Italy or Germany just to watch a game he fancies. Knows more about Engish teams (in any division) than anyone i know. Anyway, I think it was when they bought Matias (or Joao, one of those two), the rumour was that they had paid 3 million. During a phone call with the Swedish lad, I asked if the player (whicherver one it was) was any good, and he said he was OK but had been up for sale for 140 thousand Euro's recently, but the deal fell through. Now a player who can be bought for 140k does not get sold the following week for 3 million.

McGugen was 300 thousand pounds I think, and that sounds an absolute bargain to me.

For me it is not the money, but the fact that there are good players out there in Europe who are available on free transfers, we just need to know about them.

Comedy gold from the Oinkers - Beres Pork Shop has created a Jumbo Joao Pork Sandwich - there was a picture of it (and him) in Metro this morning but I can't find it online.

You're embarrassing this Board now...

Mammadov didn't take the Club over...he didn't pass due diligence. Chansiri took over (your post was only last flipping week!). Did you see the goal he scored against Leeds?! The £3m quote has come from his gross package based on appearances and promotion to the PL. I really wish we did not sound so bitter and focused on restoring our Club. We should use their example as reason to put pressure on our Mob.

He's not embarrassing me. I wasn't aware that making five posts (the ones I've read are all praising the pigs) makes you spokesperson of this board.

Christ not another Owls fan on our board!

I know Mammadov didn't take over, he hoodwinked Manderic into thinking he had the cash to do a deal, when he clearly didn't, hence Mr. Tuna bought the club. He even managed to get the "Land of Fire" logo onto the club shirts without paying for it. Not passing "due diligence" didn't come into it, look at Leeds if you want proof of how that works out. Milan realised he was on a hiding to nothing and knew he had to pull the plug.

"we should use their example"

Which one? The "not actually paying the Inland Revenue and ending up with a winding up order" one?

I would rather we pay our way and not let down local businesses (small businesses who had to accept pence in the pound when Manderic took over) like the S6 grunters did down at the sty.

Given the nature of recent Wednesday 'owners', I think we can file that under 'Money Laundering'...
