The pain of self entitled shandy drinking southerners is like nectar

Another one. A requirement of making these seems to be that at least one of the set have to love the sound of their own voice and earnestly believe their insights are fucking gold. At least one upside to the grounds being empty is no poor sod has to be sat next to one of these every week.

Annoying as they are, still don't hold a candle to that father son duo. Can't remember their names but their vids always have a still with the pair looking gormlessly at the camera and the son never shuts up.

Told my Mrs that when the man cave is up and running, I'm going to get the lads round, stick the match omm, get drunk and talk bollocks and film it.

"I've been around you when you've watched it. Why would anyone want to watch you lot? You're not even funny"

Well nor are these 2 but plenty are laughing at them

The downside of the internet is it allows the self obsessed to film themselves being fuckwits and put it out there for all to see.

May be his parents should have a word......oh no his Dad is a fuckwit to!

There is some great content out there , but for every Benjamin Bloom or Bladespod there is an Arnold or those idiots.

That is seriously one of the weirdest things I've ever watched.

Agree with them that the game should've restarted with a free kick to Spurs, but if you're going to record yourself and your thoughts about football you should probably know the handball rules.

Should it have restarted with their free kick? The ref played advantage, but I’m not sure it’s VAR‘s job to play a role in the advantage call, and the ref can’t really wait for a separate VAR decision in order to make his own decision about whether advantage accrued.

I‘d need to see the guidance on how long referees should allow before deciding whether to bring play back, and whether anyone has ever even considered how VAR could affect that.

The whole thing is confusing and more grist to my anti-VAR mill.

If it can't be a free kick then it's another example of a horrible implementation of the new rules. The ref's played advantage in a position where Spurs aren't allowed to score. How can that be an advantage?

The ref couldn’t have known Kane wasn’t allowed to score when he played advantage, and if Kane had missed then the ref certainly wouldn’t have brought it back for a free kick, as the phase had played out.

So if there isn’t already, then there should be some guidance on whether VAR can retrospectively determine advantage. I suspect the easiest answer is that a VAR intervention precludes it.

But it’s yet more evidence that var poses as many questions as it answers. Bleugh.

Yeah, not blaming the ref for playing advantage, it's just a ridiculous situation created by new rules that didn't make sense and are being poorly implemented. I know it benefited us this time but I don't think any fan wants to see goals like that ruled out across the board. There was nothing wrong with the old handball rule.
