Anyone with any info regarding didsy, is he injured or was he left out of the squad , as with our attacking options ( based upon fee paid ) does didsy drop out of the squad, i hope not as he offers so much

I fear his game time will be a lot less now which is a shame

They said he was injured but I heard talk on Saturday that Slav was open to moving him on the week before.

Injured but like others have said I doubt we will see much of him this season.

Supposed to be a calf injury. What I thought was strange all the players not in team sit behind dugout Joc was there, Mousse was sat in directors box.

Suspect as others have said that we will see much less of him moving forward. I do hope we get a couple more "vintage" performances out of him, and I hope we get a chance to say goodbye if he leaves in January or (more likely) at the end of the season. Been a magnificent player for us.

It will depend on whether we can keep MGW until January & whether Ndiaye can keep up his form. If those two things happen, then it's hard to see where McGoldrick fits.

I think he still has a bit part to play this season, and could be a very useful player to bring on off the bench.

However whilst McGoldrick is still a very good technical player, he does slow down the play a lot and I don't think he is going to fit into the style of play that Count Slav (and his fresh blood request) will be looking for. CS is seemingly looking for quick tempo play, fresh skilful players who can press and get in the oppositions faces and who are younger. If Saturday is anything to go by, then bring it on.

United in the last few years have broken with the speed of a cart horse and Didsy suited us more under that patient style of play under Wilderball. He doesn't suit Slavball. Really think this is his last season with us so hopefully he will go out with us on a high.

I don't see Didsy fading off into the distance just yet.

At the end of the day, if we stick with the 4-2-3-1 the we will need back up and competition for the 3 behind the striker.

Take out Didsy and we only really have Freeman and Burke at present, unless Slav thinks he can deploy Brewster there too?

I would also add that sensible managers don't get rid of proper ballers so easily, especially ones with such commendable attitudes.

Granted his injuries might start to increase though.

Love Didzy. Sadly he is getting older, unlike Billy, who gets younger with every game he plays. 🥳
Dont get it with Billy how can you be that good at his age ? Still turns quicker than kids half his age , and after watching our under 23/s they could do with a bit of Striking tuition

Depending on how serious the injury is possibly expect him to turn out a week tomorrow in the cup vs Southampton?

I don't think it is time to say goodbye to Didz just yet, & feel he still has a role to play whether he is in Slav's longer term plans or not. He has been sensational for us, if only we could have gotten him sooner, but time marches on & we will probably see less of him from here on in. Our resurgence, however late it is, was always going to be bitter sweet in terms of some of our favourites getting left behind, that is just life, but most reasonable fans will recognise just how good he has been for us & thank him for his service.
