Warnock

He did what he always does, play the Panto Villain to perfection. We always knew he was going to prowl the touchline with his Waterboy, Blackwell, in attendance.

His team got an undeserved point last night, let him celebrate it. Lets see how hard he celebrates when Mourinho and Guardiola are handing his arse to him next year.

^this^

Unless the owners of Cardiff City are careful, they'll either

a. Not trust Warnock (and Blackwell) with the bonus kitty and under-invest (see SUFC 2006)
b. Give Warnock the chuffing lot, in which he will spunk it all and buy the wrong players

There will be no middle ground. You won't see Cardiff being carefully reinforced and built for survival like Watford, Bournemouth or Leicester.

I wish him the best, but fear they may be taken to pieces and him handed his P45 by Xmas this year with CCFC bottom on 2 points with a -35 goal difference.

"HE'S BEHIND YOU!!!!! Well, someone has got to put the fucking cones out"

Heard him on the radio this morning refer to us as "Sheffield". First "Blade" I've heard call us that. As for his antics last night, designed to wind us lot up, which it did, and as is the norm for Mr Warnock, was all about him.

Don't worry about him. He'll be looking at old pictures of his eyebrows singing "Those Were the Days" and Blackwell will be making him a shit brew before putting the cones out*

*they aren't even training, Warnock just made him come in and do that.

I’d sooner watch this team than any Warnock team even in the Premier League. I’ve no idea what happened in season 2002/03, maybe he was cloned because that was the only season that I enjoyed the football under him. Even when he got us up to the Prem it was dire at times.

You can’t question his record over the years but I don’t like his football, hate the embarrassing media image he portrays and quite frankly I can’t stand the bloke, never could. He’s never been a Blade unless it suited his cause and last night’s reaction was a as expected as it was pathetic.

How did the crowd respond to him? Did they boo/cheer?

I gave a round and comprehensive Boo.

I wasn't at the game, I wanted a Raspberry Yoghurt for pudding after my tea and we'd ran out.

I'd fucking do it again too.

Only an issue for those with an agenda beforehand
Woman behind me spent 90 mins shouting fuck off Warnock.
We were playing some of the best football most fans have seen us play, against a team who are 2nd best in the league and just won 8 on the trot. If your "never liked him and never will" attitude spoiled your enjoyment of the good times while he was in charge that's sad, if it's still spoiling your enjoyment then I'm not sure why you bother!!

1) His eyebrows were killed by the Botox

2) I have always despised Stan Ternent for not kicking his fucking head in.

Didn't Ternent lamp Blackwell too? If so, I'd like to buy Stan a pint.

I thought his eyebrows had headed North in pursuit of his hairline, a vain chase putting me in mind of that army bloke who was always five minutes behind the A-Team.

That's what I was referring too. Just a head butt sadly.

Starting to look like Tefal Man.
Expect those crows feet to have gone for the promotion party.

I love him for what he did for us! But tonight Warnock showed zero class at the end fist pumping every Cardiff player and geeing up the away fans. I'm sorry but any Blades fan does not come to Bramall Lane and act like that. Warnock has all ways been a Warnock fan not a Blade. As I say still love him for what he did for us, but disappointed in that.

Don't know if I'm saying this to deflect from how disappointed I am in the last min equaliser. Tonight was an excellent chance to capatilise on other results and we put in a great performance. Should have had that game to bed! Anyway we move on and I am confident we will get in the play offs.

Chrissy Wilder is a genius for what he has done for this club and I can guarantee if he ever comes back to BDTBL in the future as an away manager he will show a lot more class then that. True Blade!
Never liked the man , he just used his supposed love of the blades to further his career , you could tell he was playing their fans just to rile us . I hate the man .

Just best not to care Bill.

When he gets found out in the Prem, and he will, those Cardiff fans who "love" him will be back to calling him Colin.

Warnock is a marmite character who does wind up opposition fans deliberately or not, I don't think he particularly thinks about it at the time he just is what he is and can't help but wind up opposition, referees etc. I think we expected that Warnock might be different being a Blade and an ex manager but that makes no difference and some think that's fine some don't.

I don't dislike him any less because of last night, I still like the man and respect him, mainly for his managerial abilities, but also he lacks class as we know from when he managed us, let alone since he left. Some seem surprised or annoyed which I get but he is what he is and he won't ever change.

Last night just makes me appreciate Wilder even more, and I know which one of the two that I prefer, on and off the pitch and he's the one who hasn't flirted with the Wednesday job!

Why is anyone bothered?

Warnock pumps fist in last gasp goal equaliser.......

Angry Blades rage!

Honestly who give a F##X

We didn't win so we need something, someone, anyone to be angry at so..... let's be angry at an ex manager!

I know I'll not be popular but it's all rather childish......o_O

Its not because a manager did it against us. Its because an ex manager who always professed to be a proper Blade and always played up to it, then celebrates in what some see as an over the top celebration, others like yourself see it as fine. To put it another way, it's a bit like an ex girlfriend you still have feelings for and who thought still had a soft spot for you kissing their new boy friend in front of you. We all know that they'll be kissing the new boyfriend but we'd rather not see it right in front of us when they could just go round the corner and have the same snog!

That's my best attempt of an analogy anyway! I'm not saying Warnock should have celebrated with the Cardiff fans out of the ground, I'm saying that some of our fan base thought he might show a little more tact or decorum because it is his old club and he has always said he is or was a Blade. It doesn't surprise me though and I think any opportunity for Warnock to get one over McCabe is a factor also. We move on, and I don't begrudge him for celebrating but it just proves to me that he isn't the Blade he professes to be, but then again that all was proven when he flirted with the Wednesday job. That was the turning point for me and I've never seen him the same since to be honest, but I honestly don't think Warnock gives two hoots about his relationship with the Blades is like, once he left us, we simply became just another club. That's how I view it anyway and his actions speak louder than any words he ever said about being a Blade, although he spoke truly from the heart when he said why not manage Wednesday its a job at the end of the day and I'm a football manager, they'll soon forget my past when we win a few games!

It doesn't mean I don't like him or respect him but he's not a Blade as far as I'm concerned, he's a good manager but blade? Nah, no way.

Has Warnock ever professed to being a massive blade .I know we were his boyhood team and right up till he got the job he always referred to United as us and we
But since he left I've never heard him say anything of the sort

Totally agree mosbolad, it is a lot time since he was our manager so he is just another teams manager to me. Not sure he was ever a Blade really & to be honest I don't care, & yes he went a bit OTT to his fans but why express surprise when he shows the lack of class we all know he has. Him.

Thanks Booker. Great reply. I'm still not that bothered but great reply all the same and yes I do see your point.

:)

Thinking about your analogy though....... Would we feel so bad if our ex girlfriend was only our girlfriend in the first place because we paid her? Then maybe we would be less bothered when she was all over the new bloke who was now paying her for her services.......o_O

Aye, he has. Did it last season when managing Cardiff after their defeat of Huddersfield Town and wishing David Wagner all the best v Wednesday. Can't find the interview on the net though. I'm fairly sure he's said it elsewhere too but can't be arsed trawling through you tube videos!

Cheers Monsbolad! Ha ha re your analogy! Yes we paid him but he certainly played up to the Blade thing which was great at the time but then he now seems to have being a QPR, Leeds, Rotherham, Palace and Cardiff fan too! Must have cost him a few quid following all those teams?! Ha ha!

I’ve given Warnock some stick recently so I only think it’s fair to give him some praise, after his team beat Derby, for us on the 24th of April. :D

“I got a bit of stick from their fans, but it's gone now, it's not a problem with me.

"They started chanting a few things towards me and it spurred me on a bit.

"I wasn't celebrating in front of their fans, but in front of ours and I don't see anything wrong with what I did. I didn't go over the top.”

Trying to justify his celebration, the disgraceful non-Blade.
