I would say he would have got the similar look when:
- He went over in the now infamous 'intent' penalty, which effectively got us relegated. The fact he wasn't touched and got a shot away had no baring on the fact little Stevie (such a cheat he even took a dive against Jamaica) G didn't score so had to be given another chance.
- He pretty much orchestrated a foul in the box from Kozluk to get a pen in the days when holding at corners was ok if it was a big team on a little one, but not the other way around. Biggest carve up since Christmas dinner.

The fact he somehow got away with punching a guy on camera wrankles to this day. Talk about one rule for one.

Still at least he got his karma, slipping on that invisible banana skin and losing Liverpool the title. Ha ha.

Can't argue with that and it makes you take his so-called "bladeyness" with a pinch of salt. But overall, he was a good manager for us (and elsewhere) and deserves credit more than the Colin nickname, at least in my opinion anyway.
