From the people...........

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock is plotting not one, but two raids on old club Sheffield United.

Warnock has already begun moves to take forward Danny Webber to Selhurst Park and he also fancies fellow striker Jon Stead.

Another Blades old boy, Robert Kozluk, who is now at Barnsley, is also a target.

He'll go for several of his old players I would imagine. I can see us letting Webber go, but not Stead if Robson's got any sense (which hasn't really been evident so far, but there you go), and it wouldn't surprise me if Neil had a sniff round Geary, Morgan and possibly a Quinn or two.
It also is no surprise that he's after Kozzy, if Warnock had stayed with us then Kozzy would still be here. Kozzy was under-rated by a lot of Blades, and I for one was sad to see him go.

Warnock has always had a knack of going for players from old clubs. Who can blame him though? he knows what they can offer him.

Well, Robson has been quoted as saying he doesn't think some of the players we have are as good as he thought when he arrived so maybe he'll be happy to let them go?

I wouldn't want Stead to go, i don't think he'd go either while hes in the first team.
although a stupid offer would probably work, its not warnocks way!

He can have Monty and Horsefield.

Also that useless bag of crap Gerrard.

Well it seems to me it is really.

Look at Akinbiyi and Killa as 2 easy aspects. We paid over the odds for 2 very mediocre players.

As for people slating Webber, well it surprises me. Slating a Striker who has barely been given any play time this season.

And sorry Daz, why would you let Kenny go? Who we going to get in as a replacement?

I just don't think he's been good enough for a couple of years mate. He's not commanding enough in the box and knows he's going to play every week.

I still rate Bennett more but I'm in the minority there.

I think he needs a kick up the arse or a move, just my opinion.

And with regards to Webber, I don't think he's a bad player but I'd rather see him playing rather than just sitting doing nothing for us, he's behind a big queue of strikers here unfortunately.

I don't disagree here Daz, it's just you can't get rid of a kepper with out a good replacement. And I honestly don't believe we have a good enough replacement.

Completely agree DB88. Paddy isn't good enough. As for getting rid of Robbo, it isn't his fault. Get up to training and then say he hasn't got any passion.

paddy has been on and off. i wouldnt get rid though. not going to find a good enough replacement. if someone better comes availible then keep kenny for back up/rotation

The plus on this is...

Wen would proberbaly get about 3million for Webber with Warnocks past history..

I see what Warnocks doin...he is building his very own Sheffield United...bet you in 10 years time he has a complete Blades squad :P
