Its an opportunity missed that there is no doubt but with how results in the league are going this season (Barnsley - westbrom) there will be others.

That said we have to take them and thats down to blackwell and the team to put right.

Exactly. West Brom and Preston losing to struggling teams, No a draw isn't good enough but at least we did get the point and Preston, West Brom and Boro' didn't even do that. Just shows what a mixed up division this is going to be again (except maybe for Newcastle!).

to get our season back on track we need to be playing football ;but why do we play the long ball? whats the point in having a midfield when the ball flies over it.
tactics motivation and playing players to their strengths is a must and if that cannot be achieved then mid table is all that we can hope for.

Not all of them were wankers though there were a fair few out there.
The biggest one is the big money signing - the worst big spend United have ever made.
Darius is carrying the frontline and Evans must not play again until he shows he wants it in the reserves.
Cresswell (what a classic and entirely predictable comedy signing in all the circumstances) cannot be any worse - that isn't humanly possible - and should now play.
Little was excellent when he came on and showed what a bit of composure can do for a team. But why did it take that when there are other experienced players already on the pitch.
Another starter for me on Saturday with Cotts making an appearance after an hour when he's knacked.

i've said on here before that blackwells 'results style' of play will only win over the fans when we are winning.. at the first signs of losing he has no leeway as the fans can't say 'aah at least we play decent football'.. it isn't the fans who are embarassing (if they pay their money they can do what they like AFAIC).. its the style of play .. i'm fed up of being described as 'workmanlike physical outfit'.. seems like i'm not alone

We're against one of the softest touches going foward in the League on Saturday, we really should be targetting a clean sheet in that one. The defence has been a shambles recently, not helped by the fact that we have a Goalkeeper who apparently cannot reach the corners!
